In B4 CoD hate

Also, I feel that the stacking up perks thing will be way over powered. Its there but it doesn't make me feel like a unique soldier towards the end.

Now I do get how the new killstreaks work. Seems much better now.

I'll get it soon anyway.

Well, if harriers are in the game and they are still 7 kills, I will quit any game as soon as one of the little bastards comes up. To be honest, I think that many CoD players will always go for the assault killstreaks, since it shows how uber there skills are.

Wait...you gain -every- perk as you get kills? Uhhhhh...doesn't that kinda unbalance the game all on it's own? I was on-board with the support package I like that concept, makes the game more team based, and I really like the points based system rather than a kills based system.

But stacking perks? Do you get to set the order they arrive in? Or is it just their choice or random?

"It's more balanced than it ever has been."

Uhhh... Yeah, no.
What you've created seems like the most unbalanced mess I've ever seen.
The Specialist seems the most unbalanced with them getting more, and more perks. I can easily see that being abused into the ground.

Go back to how you made the multiplayer for Modern Warfare.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Ironically the point system sounds like it was stolen from the latest medal of honor. Oddly enough since ea is fucking up the back end of bf3, this is looking better and better, not good enough for me to buy but might be the sort of thing that I wouldn't mind getting with a new vid card or something.

'More focused to the individual player.' Alright, that's fair. MW3 for the gun-toting solo berzerkers, Battlefield 3 for the team-playing nice guys. Fair deal, something for everyone.

At least they're changing it a bit.

Still not getting my pre-order munneys, but I'll consider buying post release.

They wouldn't know what a balanced game was if it was dancing in their faces yelling:

"Wave goodbye to your head, wanker!"

Well, this gives me a small (VERY LITTLE) amount of hope. They have realised that MW2 was geared to reward campers. Granted, they still do that, but at least they're trying to reward other people as well. Maybe this will make the game... well... Not like MW2.

Point-streaks = good, ironically stolen from the competition (DICE's MoH). Rewarding object playing players is always a good thing.

So how does the Specialist package work with the Hardline perk (assuming it does the same/similar thing as its previous incarnations)? Wouldn't that make next perk unlocked in one kill rather than two?

IW doesn't know what balance is. Period. Anytime they mention 'balance' while toting that a particular setup allows you to get every perk in the game (which negates the point of perks in the first place), my brain grinds its gears a little trying to comprehend it.

I can't wait for the rage the UAV gun-thing will bring. It'll be the BC2 alt-weapon UAV but worse methinks.

For all those complaining the specialist strike package is unbalanced: What?
You'll have to go around chasing all the kills yourself, it's not that easy getting to 8 kills without a UAV or a predator with all the random shit that goes on in this game. Even if you have every perk available you're still fleshy as fuck and can die within a few shots. It's perfectly fair guys, we're talking about a game where you can get fucked up by so many things beyond your control it borders on frivolity.

Well, at least I know they're not copy-pasting MW2's multiplayer

I like this idea for different play styles, it'll add a bit of variety. And the pointstreak system is a good move. It worked for Medal of Honour, and other games that did it.

I know I really should be hating this game, but I really like the sound of the "playing who you are" option. Especially after playing the Battlefield 3 beta and finding that as standard the Assualt Rifles were stupidly over-powered.

Seriously, the M27 is the beefed up version of the M416, how am I loosing shootouts?

I dunno, 8 kills in a row isn't exactly uncommon for me and I know people who will, without fail, get roughly 10 kills in a row every single game. I'm assuming that for people who can use it, will steamroll everyone else.

CoD has always been about leaning towards crazy fun at the expense of balance instead of balance at the expense of crazyness like BF. Personally, so long as there's no super unbalancing stuff that shows up like the infinite grenade launcher with MW2 when using one man army it'll be great.

BF3 has left me completely unimpressed with the beta on the 360 so I'm leaning MW3 since the fast paced rambo style gameplay is 20 times more fun than spending most of the game running to the objective. Then getting picked off by camping snipers once reaching it.

8 kills without dying isn't that hard really. Thats why my KSRs in BLOPS are still 4-7-9, and my MW2 KSRs switch between 4-7-8 and 3-6-9.

Hmm... may get... still unsure...

Sounds better than the waste of money MW2 war but... still unsure...

I'll wait for the inevitable steam demo to decide if I buy it... a long time after release >.>
