Actually I think with the turretspawning that unleashes with the second package the 1st and 3rd package are pretty neutralized. But I still want to know what resets your point streak. 2 death's ?

Also I was fairly succesful with mw2's killstreak system and so were 4 of my clanmates which always made for airspace too crowded messages. How does that work in mw3. Cant find anything on that anyway. Because all the teamplaying players are going to get turrets so I guess there will be a lot of turrets now.

Did you actually watch it? You can get these packages by assists, capturing the flag or holding pdomination points now. They just made it about 10X easier. On top of that some of the packs dont reset on death meaning you only need to do it ONCE. And the primary reason its so easy to die is because these streaks were so easy to get in previous games.(See all the people talking about 8 kill streaks)

OT: Christ...the amount of innovation is staggering. I saw about 1 new perk with 90% of them from previous games and the only difference is that support roles help unlock them too. So they added one new bonus and tweaked the system slightly...so basically a patch. And based on the devs idea that "if you dont notice the graphics you are an idiot" idealogy, then we are basically looking at a CODMW2 patch on a slightly new engine. Woopee.

Well as far as the specialist package goes, it doesn't necessarily break the game now that kill-streaks don't reset when you die. So by the end of every online game, They'll ALL be Rambo.
no thats only that one (forgot it's name) but its not specialist or assault.

damn it!!!!

i was so content getting bf3 instead of mw3... but idk anymore.
i tried bad company 2 the other day for the first time. and its annoying spending forever to get to the fight then just getting sniped. then repeating. beyond annoying actually.
where mw3 i can jump in for an hour get afew killstreaks and wins, then move on.

plus having 3 classes sounds nice, and the point system is 100x better.
the only thing worrying me is how unbalanced its probably going to end up. So idk its too hard to decide without the help of reviwers this time lol

This is a kind of convolution between rpg's and straight up army fps. But Call-of-Duty style!

Part of me says,

part of my says no. :)

well, sounds all nice but still very unsure. black ops really pissed me off, bc it feeled like the game hated me or some plot was against me because every one seamed imune against my bullets or even the knife (long story), that i deleted it.
i did enjoy cod 4 though, just at some stage it was really impossible to play due constant helis and campers. never got MW2 (and from the sounds of it i am glad i never got it)but this one...well, maybe. i keep na eye on it and see what comes out of it.

But what about the riot shield? That was the most OP weapon in the game! Any riot shield perks?

Ok... I am NOT a cod fan and won't even be buying this game as hardcore military shooters bore me shitless these days, but you guys know that you're actually wrong on this one right?

They get all the perks over time, but NO killstreaks. NONE.

I'd MUCH rather play against someone thats a little bit faster and fires a little bit better and reloads a little bit quicker, then a Juggernaut. Or a Chopper Gunner. Or a Harrier. Or that new one that drops a care package AND a support heligunner to protect it.
^Pretty much this.

I mean, come on people, all you see is a freaking trailer and based on that alone you're calling a game unbalanced?

Let's at least give these guys the benefit of a doubt, because they're actually CHANGING SOMETHING.
Before this everyone was angry about nothing being changed.
Now there's obvious changes coming, and people are still not happy?

All you need to realize is this: the specialist will not get ANY killstreaks. Not. A single. Killstreak.
