As someone who has never played nor understands the concept of Catherine, I did not get any information from this trailer. The gameplay looks cool though, which is, I guess, this is all about in the first place.

I might just get it.

.....the hell....?

So there was a giant murderous baby, a hand stabbing you with a fork, and lady trying to kill you with a chainsaw....

Ok, make sense to me.

From what I read about the game. This trailer is filled with such SUBTLE symbolism. I mean gigantic murdering baby, a monster dressed like a bride?

I guess only way to make it more obvious is to smack your face in with the script yelling "THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS DO YOU SEE IT NOW?"

Still not compelled to pick it up.

I don't know why, but this whole thing just looks and sounds really stupid.

Also, is this supposed to be a serious game? Because if that's the case, finishing the level with your character wearing only a pair of red-dotted undies and holding a pillow, while flexing his body and showing his might, is not going to help the idea.

Yea, I'm just not seeing it. I guess there are a few neat things they could do with the puzzle stuff, but I just can't see paying full price for a block-puzzle game.

Also not a fan of the SMT games, so yea, gonna pass. Might pick up at a reduced price if I hear enough good things.

Ohhhhh. Now all that controversial cover art and the title...

MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!

Talk about disjoint. Yes, I get it, the symbolism is subtle and one represents the other, but someone picking up the game based on the cover would not expect to get THIS when they turn it on.

I have no idea what this has to do with anything.
Still, have the need to play this. Just so weird.

What a ridiculous game demo was total shit, avoid this garbage if you like your money. Dumb concept, ludicrous game play, tedious story, only from what I have seen in the demo, but even if it was brilliant this crap could not be rescued from the sewer. Pre-ordered? Flush it before paying for this drivel ruins your day.
This is like if William S. Burroughs wrote a review.

So it's just a ridiculously oversexualized puzzle-platformer?
Oh...
I hadn't plaid much attention to this before but I had assumed it was an adventure game or something - I would have never guessed this was an arcade game.

What I'd like to see is Yahtzee's review for this one.
Captcha: weakest link :(
Yes, this could make for a really great episode - if it ever gets released in Australia.

This game looks amazing and I am totally buying it. Not because it was made by Atlus either. The story seems compelling and I get pratice masochism while denying the fact that I am a masochist because I'm not really a masochist through the horrors of hard mode.

The sheep and the pillow are what really sold it.

Reading the 1UP review sold me. For those thinking the game is hypersexualized, I'd advise giving it a try before passing judgement. Apparently the "sexual" aspects of the game are really tame, as it focuses more on relationships than anything else.
