I'm not going to argue over whether or not the game is good, but that was a mediocre trailer.

Oh, wow, I wasn't interested in this game before, but now I am. Excellent animations and effects, looks like a versatile game. If it is in any way possible to run this on my PC at above average settings (because, let's face it, any settings less than high for Crysis is not playing Crysis right), then I will definitely consider picking this up.

Over a century ago? Are we getting an ancient conspiracy thrown into the mix?
It is set in the future, so "half a century ago" (he said half), would be... round about now.

I need to complete this game on its hardest setting. I hope you still get to grab people by the throat and run with them.

And re-master Far Cry already - that game was awesome!

See above post, plus he said over a century ago, not half a century ago. 1:17 mark, play it again.

Am I the only one who couldn't care less about anything at all about this game bar this single fact.

WANT, NOW, IN FRONT OF ME.

How can this guy have started making A NANOSUIT over a century ago?
Well, clearly, the man who made the Nanosuit must be a time-traveller. Or a Templar. Or Both.

Great-looking trailer, and the action seems pretty fun. I'm interested, but I'll hold my judgement untill I see more of the game.
You mean like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZAaKH0FYO8

I am mainly looking forward to the Singleplayer, so the game has to shiner there since i don't have much positive feelings for Call of Duty Stlye Multiplayer.
Great Scott! Well, that could explain it. That could explain it quite well. (On a related note, I now want there to be Time-Travelling DeLoreans in Crysis 2)
Nah, i doubt that you can drive a long rout at 88mph in a this desolated New York. ^.^

I was never really a fan of the first crysis. They focused too much on the graphics, leaving the gameplay rather poor. On top of that, it was incredibly badly suited for a PC, seeing as you needed a supercomputer just to run it. And I believe only nasa was capable of running it on top graphics..

But this trailer really sold me. Badass people kicking ass to the tune of rock music? Thats pretty much a gold recipe on how to win me over.

I thought he was talking about the aliens.

On the plus side, I can run this on max graphics, guaranteed. BOO YAH!

5 bucks says the computer required to run this at maxed out graphics hasn't been manufactured yet.
You're gonna owe me 5 bucks

LOL at comments about how this "looks like shit" and the Unreal engine looks better than this.
If these graphics look like shit to you, can I please take a trip in your time machine to the future you come from where video games and reality are indecipherable from one another?

Always New York. I'd be interested in, say, Chicago or Phoenix, but New York again? Come on now.

That said, game looks great. I don't think I'd be able to play it with a controller, though; The action looks fast and furious.
"I am alive" is set in Chicago.

On the plus side: graphics are great. Unsurprised.

On the minus side: the same damn nanosuit moves from the other games? There's no change or movement here. And yes, they were broken and can be fixed - the transitions between modes before were really dodgy. Here's hoping there's at least a cycle-through-options button this time. Using the mouse scroll button is a dumb, dumb idea. Also: garden-variety aliens attacking Earth plot with classic Hollywood "It all started 100 years ago" nonsense? How frightfully original!

I was going to get it for the graphics alone, but now I have to wonder again just how much better these games would be if people DIDN'T buy them for such a reason. With some better, inexpensive gameplay concept work and some much better writers these games would be AAA, unstoppable, Game of the Year material. Severely disappointing thus far, if you ask me.

Well said good sir. Also, CryEngine comes with the added bonus of astounding physics. But i also think people are basing this opinion on the video....Play crysis in Blu Ray mode(Full HD).
