Seriously excited, but I already found a huge fault.
In the animation during speech, it's as 2-D as Prince of Persia, only the mouths move, and I've hardly seen any emotion in them.
In keeping with Deus Ex tradition, the facial animations (actually, all the animations) are pretty stiff and outdated. But that's OK, the core gameplay is excellent.

This is the same trailer as the one posted earlier today, just a few seconds shorter...but I can't figure out what was cut.

Looks good but WHY IS EVERYTHING SO YELLOW?!
I know how trivial it sounds, but that was the roadblock for me getting this game for a while. I hate the art direction in these trailers. But the gameplay and depth just looks too good to pass up.
Me too. This game has looked the same since the day it was announced. All the locations have the same Grey/yellow colour palette and look more or less identical from what we've seen so far. Even when the guy tried to explain the range of locales in that trailer I had to really LOOK to see any difference.

I've always thought this game looks like a cross between Mass Effect 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 in terms of art direction. But with considerably less of the colour and variety.

Still unsure as to whether I'll get this, based purely on that, which yes does sound petty. But I'm fed up with monotone dystopian futures!
Well, I'm definitely getting DE:HR. Gameplay-wise, it offers too much to pass up. And as much as I hate the art direction, I'll probably get used to it over time. I'll never think it's beautiful, but I'll stop being bothered by the yellow. So...yay for human perception and its ability to desensitize me to these things.

I wholeheartedly await the second Deus Ex game. This looks fantastic.
This is actually the third Deus Ex game, but we like to pretend the second game doesn't exist.
Thank you for explaining the joke.
