The guy's voiceacting was just bad, but the animations were really damn good. I really hope this game won't be a letdown. It just looks so good. Not good enough for me to go out and buy it before others bought and criticized it first tho.

Listening to the music I thought it might have been Jack Wall, (guy who wrote the music for Mass Effect 2.) Apparently it's a guy called Michael McCann. Quite similar style though.

Looks very cool, hope it lives up to it.

There will be. It's coming out on PS3, Xbox360 and PC.

Deus Ex defines bad voice acting. But that's part of its charm.

No worries, if you look just below the video it tells you the platforms.
PC is in the mix, for a game that started on PC we can agree that it would be holy sacrilege to not.

PC, X-BOX and PS3. Only problem you now have is which version to get. There are several differant pre-odrer bonus packs availble.

If it's as good as the trailer promises this will be one hell of a game. Never played the original and I don't plan to (for a few reasons), but I want this game. Not going to pre-order or anything but if it gets good reviews I will be all over it.

that's just stupid as this will tie into the first game in a big way, I am sure.
I'd suggest playing at least the first one (if not the secondone, which I also loved) so you understand anything...

I doubt playing the older games will be a pre-requisite to understanding this game - if they are hoping for this game to sell in the sort of large quantities expected of AAA titles nowadays they likely need a lot more people to buy this than played the original. Making this game inaccesible to newer players will be detrimental to sales. Plus the game is a prequel so there shouldn't be any required knowledge. No doubt there will be a few references to the original games but they shouldn't be important.

Wow looks awesome, a big step on from the original one and hopefully the gameplay will be good as well as the graphics, which Square-Enix commonly do well on.. (waiting for a response that proves me wrong..)

To be quite honest, does anyone actually care about bad voice acting? If it were a movie then it may be an issue but its a game, I rarely noticed the bad voicing in 1 or in this one (I know its stereotyped) because I was busy being immersed in the storyline..
