"Fun to watch, boring to play" that pretty much sums up how I see it. Given the hype about the environment trying to kill you that was certainly basic and easy looking platforming, there really was no sense of threat. Also the writing on the floor is the definition of trying too hard to be edgy.

Ninja Theory, once again proving that they hate gamers with a passion. I can't wait to see how they demonstrate that gamers are just getting in the way of their beloved narratives.

That looked pretty cool. Funny, how we only hear two lines in the dialogue and the whole game feels western(er?).

I still kind of think that Capcom is going to come out and say that this reboot of Devil May Cry is a joke. The fact that they are serious with this scares me, they could have called this game anything, and it would have done better. Not to say, Ninja Theory insulted a whole culture of people changing Dante's look and the reasoning behind it.

I for one might cheep bin this title and I have a feeling it won't be long. This game is getting some serious hate, and I don't blame the fans for it either

I love how they very specifically state that the images in the video are still under development. It is probably wholly due to the backlash against the Dante redesign, and by stating that, it still gives the impression that it could change. At least that is what I read from it. Either way though, the game still looks wonky to me. The last trailer looked like it was lacking everything that made DMC the game it was, and this trailer is no different. Doesn't excite me at all.

Environments look creepy even though it does look like plat-forming. Cut scenes seem to interrupts game flow. If they have such dynamic environments, or the illusion of, why do they need cut scenes? There are many games that do 'interactive cut scenes' where it's pretty much normal game-play whilst the game environment goes bat-shit around you.

Yep. It's 90% spectacle. What gameplay is there is dull an repetitive. The new Tomb Raider seems to be doing the same thing... but better.
