Good news, Australians! Actually DNF got accepted as MA 15+ with no cutbacks a while back, except we get the King Edition instead of Balls of Steel. I haven't bought it yet though.

Never played Nuke Em but my things is the exclusive material. It might be nice to give people who pre-order your game rewards but that should be something like a cool gun or something. Not a the actual demo that should be given so as many people can experience the game as soon as possible more people who like it more who will buy it. My opinion, probably should rant on their actual website but demos are for experience not a reward to people who will buy the game. Thats crappy logic.

Still, as I'm probably not going to pre-order, I won't be playing the demo. No matter, this is one of the games I'm going to buy in good faith. Taking a gamble every now and then makes life just that bit more exciting.

I'm buying it for three reasons....

1) Hope that it's going to be a true Duke game (achievement listing suggests YES!!!) (20%)
2) To say that I bought a game I waited 13 years for (30%)
3) To be able to LEGITIMATELY rage at how it fails in comparison to Duke 3D (50%)

To be honest I was starting to think they were developing the game just for the kicks of fooling everyone for a minute there. I have to say I love the sense of humor they have with these videos, the first delay in particular didn't leave me pissed off/disappointed, just admiring the way they handled it.

That display is uncanny. The lighting all around fits the room so well I keep expecting Duke to get up and walk up behind Randy.

ohh my heart skipped a beat. can't wait to play this game. I think more games should be like this, it clearly doesn't take itself seriously, it's the embodiment of everything that was terrible about the 90's (used for great satire), and will hopefully take shots at the state of current FPS games.

I heard it's already passed the classification process no worries. We'll be getting it. I'm seeing the pre-order boxes on the shelves now.

I also agree that a demo is to make people decide they want to buy games, it's not to give early access to those who've already decided they are buying it.
