I've said it before and I'll say it again: developers, most of us have internet, and all the free porn that entails. Please stop dressing your characters like strippers.

Obsidian are developing it?

...I think I may be waiting a while before buying it. Just to see what bugs it comes with.

At 0:48; Angelina Jolie much?

Anyway, despite loving the first Dungeon Siege, all this doesn't really grasp me a lot.

This looks absoloutely terrible. I had enjoyed the first two games, but I think it's time to let the series go for me.

Thing is, she isn't.

As a character with a mix between magic and physical attacks I really expected some more actual melee than "Oh, I'll just go dual pistols because clearly NO ONE has done that up close before".
You must have Katarina confused for Anjali. The later is the one who mixes physical and magic, with a melee stance where she wields a staff or a spear, and a fire elemental stance where she hurls fireballs at a distance as her primary attack and casts various fire spells (column of fire, fire jackal invocation).

O hai generic mc bland.
Nice unrealistic posing and flailing the guns around while shooting. People love that.
Gotta agree.
While the overtly flashy gunplay may work in action games, where the impacts of each blow is palpable, in an RPG in which it isN'T handled well, it comes off as dull.
Then its positive that this IS an Action-Rpg isn't it?

I'm willing to give this a chance. Can't be worse than DA2 :D

Love the art style, though the animation could be more fluid.

Oh and devs, keep the cheese coming. Most of us guys appreciate nice looking females in our games. If we want boring, we'll go for a stroll outside :)

Lol game developers love their characters doing that "gun-fu" crap don't they? Also idk why this is but it always bugs me when a character grips a rifle improperly too near the trigger, I now i'm splitting hairs but it just looks silly.

The one from DS doesn't have Spiky Spikes of Spiky Doom, nor does she have a boobs window. And she doesn't pretend going into close combat with that ineffective of an armor, since she doesn't do close combat and has magic to protect herself. From the Lead Designer :

Katarina is one of my favorite characters. The way her guns combine with her magic is actually really fun. For instance, she has a spell (you can see her use it once in the trailer) where she plops down a purple AoE on the ground at her feet that doesn't do damage but pushes enemies back when they hit it. You can create chokepoints with it, protect yourself from melee attacks... it's definitely a very cool combo.
Katarina's model (from the first seconds of the video) in color, if people are interested :

And the one for Anjali, for the people who think that all the female characters won't wear armor :
