Eh. Does it have complete freedom to do whatever you want? To role play completely true to your character? Because if not, I think it might be missing part of the core appeal of D&D, if all you really do is make a character and kill things.

You cannot change what your character looks like, no what their gender or race is. You have 4 options in total, a Human Fighter, a Dwarf Battle Priest, a Halfling Mage, and a Elf Rogue.

OT: Even with all that, it looks like fun. I just wish they would give us a release date.

Looks like an updated version of Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone. Doesn't look like there's anything new or special about it.

As a rule of thumb, I avoid games that have D&D directly in it's title because.....well, frankly the first thing that comes to mind when I read it is MS excel. I'm sorry but it's true. I do NOT like spreadsheet, statistical combat. So, yeah, I don't care about this....

Every video continues to make me less interested. It's bad enough they turned the tabletop into a bland, truncated system; it's a shame to see the digital variants follow suit. Where are the games like Balder's Gate, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights that understand the medium that spawned them? Without that, it's just another samey hack and slash hoping to pull in a few extra bucks by touting the words D&D to sucker fans in. And sadly, it will likely work.

It's going to be a cheap X-box live D/l and you can have 4 player online and split screen play if the trailer I watched wasn't lying.

Ahh, I can't agree more, but what can you do... this is the way the wind is blowing.

At least we still have the old classics, I know I for one haven't played them all yet.

Blood and violence... but NO suggestive themes? LAME!

Okay, that was a joke, but I am actually unimpressed.

Well, this looks... generic and dull.

Eh, maybe they just had a bad day making this trailer?
