Well the Red Dawn connection may be due to the fact that John Milius (the writer of Red Dawn) wrote the plot for Homefront.Avayu said:You're not the only one. This basically looks like an FPS version of World in Conflict.

I seem to be drawing far too many parallels here.
*sigh*
The tagline is not that different: "Home is where the war is" against "War is coming home". And you fight North Koreans instead of Soviets. The Red dawn connections till exists, though.
My personal views make me really want this to be good, but I'm still pretty skeptical of the bland looking gameplay. Vehicle play seems a lot better that in BFBC2 though.
