Am I the only one who thinks the faces, despite all the effort invested in them, still look awkward?
I feel that the voices sound different from the faces. It's a bit odd, but the voice work, and the face modeling, seem to be better than in most games.
They do look a bit odd, but I think that is to do with some shadowing. The shadows seem to go in all directions slightly, regardless of the light source. Despite that, they do look much better than most in game faces, especially the expressions, that is surely undeniable.
The voices not going with the faces (unless you are on about lip syncing) has to be a personal perspective, because the voice actors are the same as the face actors, or so I believe.
On topic, this is clearly the best pre-order bonus, I don't know why anybody would go for the other ones.

As long as I can tell goons to stop cracking foxy I'm sold. I'm holding out for some gameplay demos but Rockstar have very rarely let me down (ok ok Max Payne 3 but this will make up for it) I don't mind too much how the invesigation gameplay works. Mix some hitman style sneaking and observing and those tests from Condemned 2 and I will be more than happy

Hot diggity, this game looks freaking awesome.
Every trailer makes me slap myself for not pre-ordering yet!
That'll change when I pick up DA2, though.

Can't wait for this!

It certainly draws inspiration from that old movie. Still we need to wait and see will they manage to convey that unique atmosphere of the city itself and than merge it with gameplay to create something fun. It's technically impressive, no doubt about that, and they deserve praise for putting that much effort into making this game feel realistic. To me it feels like a cross between Mafia and Heavy Rain.

Huh, if the actors are the same for both parts that's odd. I'm not sure how to say it, but it sounds like the voice is coming from somewhere other than the person who's talking, the lip syncing looks drastically better than most games, so far.

Hehe yeah I was sarcastic, I am just very disappointed that they don't want to port their great games over to the PC too. I would love to buy Red Dead Redemption and many others...they just assume we'll all pirate it.

This game seems to have a pretty impressive soundtrack as well as some interesting gameplay. I think I'll look out for this game.

I suppose it could be something to do with your audio set up. Or they finally got past the uncanny valley and your brain is refusing to believe it, and distracting you with something else.

I actually think this game dips further into the Uncanny Valley than, say, Half-Life 2, the animations are fantastic and the facial detail is off the charts - but when they're being performed by what is very clearly computer-generated puppets.

Looking at the graph - for me I feel these characters crawl just short of coming out of the valley, it's niggling but not overwhelming, but that's enough for my suspension of disbelief to snap completely in two.
