I agree with you. Rockstar have been ignorant idiots that think: Ohhh, what a special game, we should make it console exclusive so we can gain more regonition and publicity! Blah, be my guest Rockstar, all your complicated CG mouth movement, expensive voice acting and so "way amazing" gameplay for the Xbox360 and the PS3, I can forgive the PS3 cause it at least its still tough to break.
I'm a PC gamer, and truly games deserved been bought original always goes on my list. I actually wanted to spend some money on such a game that actually willing to spend big budget on game rather than movies, up until it said this: I'm sorry, I've forgotten to tell you its console exclusive.
L.A Noire is like a known Highschool chick from a popular group. She maybe hot and sexy but only having sex by those within the popular group, most of them aren't even appreciated. People may like to see or hear her but eventually everyone just realized its just a fantasy that they never able to touch her because she is exclusive and move on. When she is washed up, used up, the popular group eventually complaint how incompetent she was and finally dump her to the streets, she will go down in history as a portrait size photograph in a Highschool reunion scrapbook that pages can be easily turn over by another new popular group with hot and sexy chicks. Wider publicity may not sound great but at least someone will actually appreciate you and remember you and spend their hard earn money for your one night stand!
Why games like Crysis 2 willing to actually downgrade their engine so they can be a man that everyone can actually play while L.A Noire is acting like a proud girl, unaware that she have been cheated for the past 3 years!
