You're going to have droves of people go into a game and either cheer or boo constantly just for the lulz. I like the spectator idea, but we'll see what happens when the GIFT comes into play.

This might actually be the first good Mortal Kombat game after MK3.

Which isn't saying much. I love the atmosphere and scenery of MK, but the actual gameplay, especially in single player vs. AI, has always sucked. Sucked as in repeatedly kick-dropping enemies being the most effective way to progress -style sucking.

I've been hoping for a MK game with Street Fighter combat mechanics for a long time now. Maybe this will be it.

Sooo King of the Hill mode is just another word for "Online survival mode"... It's been done. They just added avatars at the bottom with meaningless actions

I am disappoint. They spent so much time talking about what you can do with the Avatars that I can't even remember if they mentioned the feature I thought a 'King of the Hill' mode in a fighting game would entail- loser leaves after a match, one of the audience volunteers to fight the winner. Continue until the winner has to leave. Everyone gets an edge on the current 'winner' this way since they've seen him fight before.
