Great trailer....but I'm starting to get worried.

I've noticed that the more hype a game gets, the worse it is upon release. Or maybe thats just EA.

no, it's impossible to taint the awesomeness of portal. Only the vilest, most evil entity in existence could possibly, wait...we are talking about EA...crap.

What you're saying is usually true, yet I don't think Portal 2 is being over hyped; I think Valve is just doing a better marketing campaign for it and trying to pull more attention to it. After all, the majority of the clips they have shown in trailers and ads are gameplay clips. It's not like they are doing a Sqaure Enix marketing scheme: check out these flashy cinematics of things you wont actually be able to do in the game!

Honestly, Valve probably didn't need to do any advertising to get me interested in Portal 2, but DAMN are they doing a good job with it. Now I'm at least twice as excited for it as I was before.

I always found the Aperture Turrets overhyped. It was mainly the extensive advertising, sleek design and Aperture brand that sold them. And they were pricier than their more competent alternatives. Must-have for hipsters to get that delusion of individuality.

I myself always preferred the Combine Turret. It might not be glamorous, but it's cheap and customisable.

If they don't make some sort of joke out of this in the future I will be very upset.
