Would be better to have the Zombie Apocalypse in Mafia 2 :p

RDR got very unpleasant for me after a while, was just a bit...boring.

I'm glad I've been mostly sitting out the current zombie fad, because I can look upon this DLC with something akin to anticipation.

I still would have preferred to get an Outlaw single player DLC. Yes, I Want Grand Theft Horse.

well this...... does not look that good actually....
having played RDR just to find it too repetitive and boring, I dont think zombies are whats missing (also, why the hell zombies?! why not werewolfs? that could be intresting indeed)
The only thing that would ever make me touch that game again is a Bravestarr DLC.
I would play the crap out of that DLC!!!!

Also, does anyone know where this event fits in the story of John Marston? I'm going to guess that this event happens either during the time he's back with his family, or that after John was killed (about a 20 times, if you counted the shoots he took) the plague brought him back to life, but he was just too awesome to stay as a mindless zombie.

....what?

I honestly thought this was a joke trailer at first. You mean it's REAL? Huh. Zombies.

Were they sitting at a meeting discussing DLC possibilities and someone jumped up and yelled, "ZOMBIEZ!!" and everyone else was like, "Hellz Yeah!"?

I mean... It just seems surreal. Doesn't fit the game at all... I'm not saying I don't like it I'm just... confused by it.

Well, the DLC, according to what I've read, takes place in an alternate storyline from the main game, and is thus accesible from the main menu.

What has me most intruiged is the inclusion of "Mythical Creatures" in the DLC, including the Four Horses of the Apocalypse (which can actually be tamed in the game!).

Zombie Cowboys, eh? Has that ever been done before?

Still, even with a game I quit halfway i'm getting myself pumped to try this out. Maybe along with Dead Rising 2 to get my apocolypse on.

Beside this being awesome in its own way, I think that zombies are at the same level if it comes to DLC XD

I think it takes place in an actual nightmare. I can't imagine after stopping a zombie invasion that everything just goes back to normal.[/quote] I think I read on the RDR wiki that it happens when you're at your farm. Before the ending.

fuck screwed up this post. ah well, what i meant was it doesn't happen in the normal story, on the main menu its called something else.

If you're going to jump the shark with your franchise, you might as well go all out...
It's sad when doing something fun and interesting is considered "jumping the shark"
Your right, those silly devs should just stick to realistic games. That's obviously what people want, real life. Why did they have all that killing and action in RDR too? That's not the "real" west, violence was common but not as much as in the game. They should have the player doing nothing but regular jobs and occasionally having a quick gun battle with a couple of people.

Seriously, it's just a "what if" type thing. Marvel wasn't "jumping the shark" with marvel zombies, they were just making things interesting for a short side story.
Ya, and the Fonz was just making the fifties more interesting by jumping a shark while waterskiing.
