A damn good trailer though. One to keep an eye on.

i have no idea what the hell was happening...who the game is about....i dont know anything really

only that saints row is awesome...and i want to play this game

although does anyone else see the similarities to the Dead Island Trailer.

I know they are different in tone...and this one is moving forward...

but it ust feels like they were trying to get i on the ambiguous, well animated action sequence band wagon

i dunno...i still liked it

Saints Row 2 was a fantastic game because it kept the story light and fast with plenty of variety in the action. As long as they don't screw that up the new one should be good, too.

Sadly, it looks like it may be a bit much for my 2008-era PC to handle.

It's a CGI trailer, it's not ingame. Besides, the PC ports of this game have always been a bit buggy. However, if they work out the issues I might get...once I get a new gaming PC...fuck.

...yep. Never trust a pre-E3 or E3 trailer. Actually, just never trust trailers. Or alpha/early beta screenshots. The corollary to this is if the internet rises up in unison to decry how crappy the graphics are and how it's an affront to the current generation of games, or how we need a new generation with the power to make the graphics better, then you can probably bank on it being actual gameplay.

The April Fool's joke trailer was more trustworthy than this about how the game will actually be. I mean, someone got gratuitously punched in the dick. That's about as true to Saints Row as you can get.

This trailer is awesome but a couple of things in it make no sense. For one thing they're fighting on the top floor and there's a pool there but then when we look back from the jet to the building it's a heli pad.

Anyway I only noticed that because I was watching the trailer over and over again. So cool...askdsakhdasj

I love E3 season! So much CGI awesomeness! So MANY misguided hopes and dreams!

(I'm not talking about SR3 specifically, mind you. Just the spirit of the season)

Looks more like a Ghost in the shell trailer, I'm guessing they got an asian company to do the trailer, and they did an awesome job.

Sadly this is in no way related to gameplay.

Oh, I know the gamelpay will look nothing like the CGI, but the graphics levels in general for new games are starting to make my poor little PC cry, especially when they involve sprawling geography and lots of independent objects. Heck, even Saint's Row 2 was pretty choppy at times.
