Nice trailor. Although I'm sure we were all hoping for another deceived-esque masterpice cinematic trailor. Or, well, is sure as hell was!

Any confirmed date of release yet? (speculation is star wars day - May 4th, May the 4th be with you).
They are still on schedule for spring, thats really all their saying. Any time from April to Jne is your best bet.

April is probably to optimistic, logistically the least amount of time between an official announcement and release is probably 2 months.

Prejudice set to Maximum.

That phrase tickled me for some reason. Something about this game and it's trailers that feel more badass than the movies.

I have one question, How exactly will it fit that there will be like 9 times more jedis/siths than every other class combined? Because let's face it most people don't even care about the other classes, well after Jedi I guess the more popular one would be Bounty Hunter and then Smuggler pretty much leaving everything else (which according to, well this trailer there should be like 20 for every jedi) for a small minority of players....
Well at least that is what I think will happen anyway.

It's been confirmed that this game will come out on 11-11-11 to directly compete with Skyrim, as Bioware sees Bethesda as their greatest rival.

do you have a source to back that up? the official site states there is no release date yet. But I do think april is a bit too optimistic, I'm putting my money on a summer release.

OT: looks cool. while it's not as awesome as the hope trailer, it's nice to see a trailer with gameplay footage.

you're probably right, but I for one am looking forward to rolling a trooper ^^
and I really think people will give the other classes a look too, once they've played jedi/sith for a while.

I am guessing within the next month or two. Bioware is now letting people pre-register guild names and recruit people. Hopefully that means they are getting closer to announcing an official release date as well. The only thing that Bioware has said is that they want to release it around spring of this year.

Sith Lord: "There's no place in the universe you can hide from my roth, Jedi!"

That was the funniest part in the trailer apparantly sith without masks cannot talk properly.

Then I saw a HK droid and now I want to either:
A) If I play republic finally get my chance to destroy that factory that keeps spewing out the assassin droids.
B) Either side, take the choice to take over the factory and have my own personal army of HKs.
C) If I play empire, I want one as a companion.
or D) Play as one.

This game just keeps getting better and better.

I had heard of the alternate pronunciation of wrath as Roth. It is a bit obscure, but some use it. I also had another thought, wouldn't a thousand generations of peace lead to the possible effectiveness of jedi martial arts atrophying? As in, it becomes too flowery, too restrained and formal to be effective. Elaborate katas/forms, but the applied skills in response to serious danger dumb right down. An an inability to easily predict low-down dirty moves or even respond to common military tactics, like flanking, barrages and advances, or concentrated blaster fire from multiple sources.

Just a thought on peace and the skills of the fictional jedi.
