Fighting games are riding high at the moment; Street Fighter X Tekken next year, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition just came out and Street Fighter Third Strike is re-released this summer with much more content and an online mode.
I had trouble in Street Fighter because of the ridiculous time commitment involved in learning how to link normals. Apparently, this game does not suffer from the same problem. Hopefully the combos will be of reasonable length, unlike MvC3.
The trailer seemed really, really generic. Here's a character. Now they're fighting. Now they're using a super move. Also, the music choice was painful.
The music in the trailer reminded me of Parry Gripp.
I'm pretty awful at fighting games, but this one looks like a title that I'd get. Hwoarang is an old favorite; to have him tag with Guile would be burly.
I'm more excited about the tekken style one. Mostly because (as MvC3 is teaching me regularly) I suck at street fighter, whilst I'm quite good at tekken.
