OT: I love all the Final Fantasy music, I genuinely do. But this is, I don't know... unnecessary? Not exactly a bad idea, but just pointless.
This trailer has as a serious lack of " You're not alone". Gameplay looks tough, but I'll pass. I'll play it someday when I'm more curious.
Or you know, you could put a little effort into the 25 year mark.(I'm just a little peeved.)

Isnt an anniversary meant cellebrating the original product and its lasting for many years?
If that's the case I'd expect something that FF players wanted to play.
I'm just annoyed though, the game looks fun but it's not my thing.

Yeah, I have no problem witht them releasing stuff like this. I just really want Versus 13 or Kingdom Hearts 3 :\ I wish Squeenix would actually finish games and let us play them. Without them being snooze fests like FF13.Capitano Segnaposto said:
I may be in the minority here, but some of my favorite music of all time was from Final Fantasy. I'm actually looking forward to this. I like rhythm and timing games (though they are far from my favorite type of game), and I love the final fantasy music. The only way this could be better is if each one actually took you through my favorite games from start to finish. I'll wait and see. But I have been waiting for more reasons as to why I bought a 3DS.
I pretty much feel the same way with this. It isn't like some amazing thing I've been waiting my entire gaming career for or anything, but it certainly looks like it will be something I can pick up for 10-20 minutes every now and then for a nostalgia trip or just some rhythm game fun. Ya it's not versus or FFVII HD edition or some sort of god coming to earth in JRPG form but it looks like it has the potential to be a nice little gem I wasn't expecting.Baresark said:
