Looks nice.
But why is it when they say "you play the story bla bla" you only see cut-scenes? Where you obviously don't "play" the story?
I believe them on the sound part though. Relic has always been awesome with ambient sounds, battle sounds, music and always deliver wonderful voice direction.

Alright, as much as I love 40k I have just one tiny gripe against that trailer.

Go to 2:39 and listen to the bolter... What kind of peashooter is that?????, a spacemarine should have an awesome gun and to put it in 40k perspective, it would make an ork drop it in favor of the junk he calls a gun instead of lootin that worthless piece of dakka

I'm sure the game will be great, but those interviews...

It's like someone from marketing handed the devs a checklist of words tailored for the US market that they need to utter repeatedly every single time they give an "interview"...

And here I thought this was a 40K game, not a movie.

And yes, that bolter sounds like a popgun.

According to the fluff, the round has a minimal explosive to propel it out of the barrel before micro rockets ignite and carry the main projectile towards the target.

I love that bit where you bring the dormant Warlord Titan to life. Those guns, they gonna make some huuuuuge bangs.

Yeah i thought that too, it doesn't even sound like a gun from nowadays, let alone a massive gun that fires micro-rockets. Hope that it was just a bad sound moment and they've fixed it by release

Everyone noes its da orks dat got da dakka. Hummies got nothin' on da orks!

At some point are we going to see director commentaries sayin this movie will give you the full video game experiance; action, love, adventure, get your heart pounding?

I do agree with those above why do videogame people always sound like movie washouts? They wish they could be in film but here they are in videogames...

Well, at the very least, THESE developers certainly appear to have positioned themselves in front of the movie industry while on their knees...

Am I the only person who considers developers comparing their games to a movie to be less of a selling point and more of a warning to not risk my money on a pre-order?

You are definitely not the only person. I hate hearing developer talk about how "cinematic" their game is. When I hear that I think "be prepared to spend a lot of time with your hand on the controller, staring at the screen".
If they had used both "cinematic" and "compelling" then I would be a little worried.

They (not THQ) made a Space Marine movie, not too well received from what I hear. There's nothing wrong with a cinematic game, as long as it doesn't detract from the action.

The one thing you can love about Relic, they always do it right, but the little pops from the bolter...sort of disappoint me...even the little click clack from dawn of war 2 which was a little less than I imagined worked better

Bolters are gyrojet weapons. You don't get concussive booms with the smaller models, just the whoosh of encroaching death. Heavy bolters that fire something closer to a true rocket get up to the noise range. Least, thats how i percieve it.
