Without wanting to sound trite, a lot of the American and Russian space program was based on what was Nazi sponsored research.

Case in point, Werner von Braun.

OT: I wonder if there are going to be time travel shenanigans...

Its probadly the only way this plot might actually be interesting. The idea of stealing a future does suggest time travel might be involved. Though on the other hand as engaging characters go that old lady nazi at the end makes me thing this is going to be the full of stereotypes and cardboard (much like Rage)

Also I do believe even the Germans would take offence at assaulting nurses in broad daylight. This isn't Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS.

So overall this is a better version of turning point: fall of liberty but with mechs.

Whether this game ends up being good, bad or just meh, I have to admit that the trailers are goddamned amazing. The first one was the perfect teaser and the second is a nice segue into E3, where, hopefully we'll finally see some gameplay.

Oh, we 'owe' the Nazis way more than that... apart from certain quite offensive and freakishly nasty peculiarities, the Nazis sure had the socialist part of their shit together in a very compacted cow-dung brick sorta way. That shit was pure and heavy... maybe that's why a lot of it is still in effect all over the planet today.

One thing made me giggle a bit - the Beatles cover.

One thing made me laugh out aloud and wet - FINALLY we get to see DARPAs Big Dog, Cheetah and whatnot killerbots in their pure, jaw-snapping and bone-crunching beauty. These things rock. Go, evil Nazis, go! Without you, Mr. Blazkowicz would have to start applying for some other random job!

Looks fun and campy. Probably some form of time travel with a scientist of the future joining the Nazis before WW2 and telling Hitler "Don't attack Russia until you have dealt with Britain and the US, trust me."

It would be nice to see how this nazi controlled world actually works. See how people live in this alternative future, what kind of media and literature is produced and how historical figures (apart from the ones lined up against the wall) have changed. Is Elvis or Johnny Cash Nazi American shocktrooper, dissidents or just unheard of country sings playing in run down night clubs in the South. Their music offically discouraged by the Germans or the local colaborators but no one caring enough to stamp down on them.

It would be nice, but I doubt it will happen. While we don't know much about the game structure I bet it will be an on the rails FPS with occasional non-combat section alla COD.
