I would like to know if there are any Transformers fans out here. If you are, name your favorite character and your favorite series. My favorite transformers are Grimlock(obviouly)and Soundwave. I also think that Transformers Animated is pretty interesting.

As much as I loved G1 and the film. I have to say that Beast Wars was my favorite series. Dinobot was my favorite character, first time I cried during a TV show was when he died oh so heroically.

Call me typical but I'm a fan of His Majesty Optimus Prime, followed closely by Starscream.

I do love the original Transformers series, but my favorite was probably Beast Wars; my brother and I were religious about catching every episode when we were growing up.

The worst part of Dinobot dying was the episode after that. Transmutate was one seriously messed up episode that I will never forget. Pity current UK kids shows do not share the same level of depth that our generation's television had.

That's a problem in the U.S. too. It's like cartoon creators think kids want a stupid cartoon that uses weak humor and a very cheesy moral. That usually ends up as crap.

The new TransFormers Animated is pretty good as well, there are so many G1 references, even Weird Al voicing a character who had the theme 'Dare to be Stupid' in the G1 film.
