Yes I know this thread has been done to death, but I'm starting a thread on this now

I just saw Transformers 2 today, and I seriously loved that movie. The basis of the movie was good, it had Meghan Fox in it, the speed of the action kept you on your toes, the special effects looked great, it had good comedy thrown in, and many other things about the movie were good in my opinion. I truly saw very few flaws to the movie, I think it was excellent. If you're looking for a good action movie, I'd highly recommend it. Just posting this to say my opinion, and to ask what other people thought of the movie.

Megan Fox has worn off, I couldn't give two shits about any of the characters, the black cars that looked like monkey were annoying as fuck and the final battle was so horribly anti-climactic.

Here is my movie pitch:

[HEADING=1]Transformers 3: Battle of the Transformers![/HEADING]
An hour and a half of giant robots fighting around the world! No story, no plot, no specific setting, no humans just huge robots fighting to the death!

Coming June 2010

Can someone explain to me why the fuck people find her to be so attractive? Personally, I think she is ugly and her character in the movie has the personality of styrofoam.

Megan Fox is just a pouty no talent *****, she's hardly much for the eye either their are better looking actresses out there though not so many looking to work with lebouf and bay.
But contrary to most G1 fans I actually like it the action was tight enough to be worth the horrific story and all the slapstick style comedy was reminiscent of the original cartoon.

Have yet to have the pleasure of seeign it, from what I have heard its a typical bay fratboy fest complete with shit action, CGI so gratuitous it would make Lucas jealous, pointless plot holes, and dogs humping each other.. yeah classy Bay.

Hey, don't demean the very characteristic styrofoam! That magic foam acutally has use, purpose, and talent! Think of it's many uses! It's versatile, helpful, and even fun, when playing with the small packing peanuts, to throw them at each other.

Quite unlike Megan Fox. The only thing she's good for throwing at is overemsculated boys, but please steer her clear of anything with a plot.

You know, some of my friends have watched that movie. I asked why they would see it. I see no value whatsoever in it. They said because megan fox is hot(actually my friends' exact words were "Megan yum yum is very yum yum"). Now I personally watch movies for the movies. I only look for hot actresses in pornography.

But yeah my other friends who haven't seen it will most likely drag me to it. However I only said i would go if they pay for me......which they actually might.

I thought it was a decent way to waste nearly 3 hours, but in terms of cinematography it was good at best.

Why on Earth were the Twins needed? They still haunt my dreams with their incessant stupidity and non-stop talking.

I enjoyed the action.

I survived the Brooklyn accents on the twins (but only just).

Megan Fox was rather nice eye candy but after seeing the MTV movie awards I just thinks she's moody (there maybe a reason I don't know about).

The scenes with the Pyramids, the CG look horrific

Devastator was a let down, but....no, no he was a let down.

The last five minutes or so, so much cheese it attracted every giant rat in the local vicinity. it spoiled the movie for me.

Starscream and Megatrons segments were good, a nice throw back to G1 cartoons.

Bay was very caviler with the death rate of the Deceptacons, which kind of defeats the purpose of the war if 6 Autobots can kill that many, also I swear he brought a few back from the death, Megatron aside.

Jetfire, I loved him until the end of the film.

Edit-> Bay cannot film a decent battle or fight scene

So summing up

> 3 good points
> 5 bad points
> 2 neutral (Megan Fox & Death/Revival rate)

It could have been so much more, but that doesn't matter now, it's made more money than Scientology and a third very similar title is on its way because of that.

From what I've heard about the movie the only way I'm going is if I won't be paying for my ticket, or popcorn, or drink or anything for that matter. Micheal Bay presents Explosions - Robot Chicken segment. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRS90V8BQGo]

I have to ask is there a scene in Transformers 2 with a helicopter flying against the sunset or sunrise because there is in all of his other movies.

I liked it, but you know, I like crap movies apperantly, cause I really like the Happening. Go ahead flame me, but this really is subjective.
