Transformers 4 Release date and Title.

Release date is the 7th of july in the Uk, not to long after the American one ^^

Now, the title...Age Of Extinction. Well, guys the title is due to the fact that certain characters have been confirmed, who are all LOVED by the fandom.

The Dinobots will be making an appearance in this film. The poster above apparently has a footprint mark on it (i can't see it but hey ho) also TFW2005 have been posting many leaks lately and the Dinobots may as well of been confirmed by Mr Bay himself

Also other characters have been confirmed check over at TFW2005 if you want to find out more. I'll be here forever if i type everything here.

Tis a sequel to number 3, and it starts a new Trilogy

But Bay has said that these films are going to feel and look different, whether that's in character design or story or something else entirely is anyone's guess...

If you read up on it, it sounds a lot more interesting than the previous 3.

You have to remember, a film is completely different to a tv show, it kinda needs a human element. Especially Transformers, it costs a ton to put giant CGI robots on screen you know.

Plus the characters in TF4 sound waaaayyyyyy better than Sam, Michaella and Carly (even though i thought Carly was pretty well done tbf)

You clearly don't understand TF It has been going on since the 80's, cartoon after cartoon, new continuity's, new story's, new characters and new takes on existing one's. These films aren't any different. Trust me when i say there are way bigger, better story's Bay could do.

At least they leave a good 3 year gap between the films and not rushed out ever 2 years.

No need to get angry at Bay, he doesn't write the script, and probably gets told half the things to do by Hasbro.

He hasn't ruined anything, this is a new continuity and is not a G1 movie gone wrong, Gagh, i love this fandom but it gets me so mad -.-

Bay considered the first draft "too kiddie", so he increased the military's role in the story.

Hasbro barely interfered with the casting, writing, directing, or production of the Transformers films.

While you're correct that he didn't write the screenplays, he was the director and as such had a large amount of pull on how they actually ended up adapted to "the big screen".

Also, "alternate timeline" doesn't stop them from being mediocre films and terrible Transformers films. Bay went on record as saying that he initially wasn't interested in making Transformers films because he thought they were "too chilish" and "stupid toy movies", and the only reason he signed on was because Hasbro convinced him to; And the end product shows that Bay wasn't really all that invested.

The only Transformers movie I give a damn about is the Prime conclusion, Predacons Rising.
Maybe if Bay makes a movie with out unlikeable characters eating up 60% of the runtime, robot designs that don't look like twisted sheet metal, and fight scenes that aren't a confusing clusterfuck I will give a damn but that's pretty tall order.

I will end up watching it one way or another but I'm pretty sure it won't be at the cinema (chances are, my bro will get the dvd for Christmas from one of his mates since that how he ends up getting all three despite he's not a fan of Bayformer himself)!

I'll watch it for sure, when it ends up on Netflix so I can fast forward through all the terrible crap like I did for the 3rd movie, which while the quickest was my most enjoyable experience with the Bayformer movies.
