So i like both Transformer 1 and 2, i also like Megan Fox cause she sexy as hell!

I dont get all the hate for these movies, they are not suppose to win Oscars for best story, and should therefor be judged as what it is.. 'splosion time!
And explosions it does well methinks..

If I want to see something sexy, then I will watch porn, not Megan Fox.

But he's so associated with the deaths of beloved franchises such as Indiana Jones/Transformers (not MY personal opinion, as stated, I loved the first one) that people have a general hatred of him.

In fairness, I do remember reading that he's pretty ashamed of himself for Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal skull. It's unfair to place all of the blame for that shit-pit of a movie, but since he was probably the most annoying aspect everything gets dropped on his shoulders.

OP: Meh. I'll probably watch it, but if the plot and characters suck as hard as they did in the last two then I'll most likely end up bitching about it.

The moon landing was a cover-up for the mission to find this crashed ship, which is probably the Ark (the Autobot's ship) that crashed at some point. The Transformer seem inside, while no identity is known, is almost definitely an Autobot. You can tell from the blue eye optics.

Anywho...I'm glad Megan Fox is gone. I was getting bored of her acting. If only they could get rid of Shia whats-his-fucking-name AND tone down the stupid, goofball comedy. Oh, and get rid of the racist gangsta twin autobots

Jet in the first movie. cybertronian tank in the 2nd. in the 3rd he's changed to an armoured truck with weapons on it.

It looked a lot like Alpha Trion, the transformer that made Optimus in the regular canon. And they confirmed that it is the Ark.

I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna see it to find out who MBay kills off in less than a second. Arcee barely gets a few words out, looks like she gets shot once and apparently that's the last we'll see of her. Might as well have been off screen for what you see.

The first movie was an absolutely irredeemably horrid abortion that should have been nuked from orbit. Michael Bay should have been convicted of crimes against humanity for that one.

I've stayed the fuck away from the franchise since, and I saw nothing so far that tells me this new movie will be anything but a new colossal failure.

M'bay already said hes bringing back the humanity to the last movie. Thats right folks! More human story!

I hope you're wrong and Bay meant he was bringing more humanity to the robot characters, fleshing them out more.

Just because they are not "expected" to win Oscars for storywriting, acting, direction, catering, etc. Is no excuse to not put any effort into it or make it actually make sense.

In a movie this big with such a large budget there is no reason not to have a decent story, or to be well acted. Just because it's not a drama is no excuse for it to go nowhere over the course of two hours. To be honest I think it failed as an explosion movie as I was actually bored for long stretches of the film.

This a 100 times over!

When a film like inception is easily understood and a dumb splosion movie is as incomprehensible as transformers 2 your doing something wrong!

OT: I really didn't enjoy the first one, and haven't watched the second. I really don't intend to see this one either. My theory is that if I ignore it long enough, it will just go away.

Hell to go on full rant I hated the first 2 other then Peter Cullen nothing about the movies felt true to transformers they ruined alot of the autobots and decepticons in how they act and dont get me started on those steriotype bots that was so so dumb i cant even think of a proper word for it.


They involved the humans to much WAY TO MUCH along with bad acting.


To note on what i ment on how they ruined some of them Look at Devestater they turned him into a giant vacum that gets killed by a rail gun are you kidding me? No its not he should of been a giant badass bot that would wipe the floor with anyone basickly like his G1 orginal counterpart.

Nop, "Dark of the Moon" still wins by a gigantic margin.

Most of those are simply bad titles. "Dark of the Moon" is a terrible title that seems like it was written by a 6 year older... Or someone with Down's syndrome.

I'm pretty sure there was more than just Megan Fox ruining these movies. Like bad action sequences, butchery of the source material... OTHER bad actors.
