OT - So long as the transformers turn into things they can actually make, I'm sold. Even as a kid, the idea of Megatron (who, if we remember, is MASSIVE) turning into a pistol was fucking painful. Moreso when he started getting carted around by his least trusted lieutenant. I'm cool if they want to turn him into a tank or jet or something, though.

Besides, I liked the movies. They contained the prereq levels of robots beating the shit out of each other, and somehow made Sam slightly less annoying.

Repeatedly. And he's getting good at it too, every time he dies, he comes back faster than the last time. TF: Animated Prime has the record, spending only about a minute and a half dead. (In fact, Animated is one of the best Transformers continuities, all the stuff that we expect to happen in every Transformers continuity, Prime dies and comes back, Starscream betrays Megatron, et bleeding cetera, gets over and done with in the first episode. The Decepticons are actually a threat, being bigger, stronger, and better armed than the main Autobot cast. Even the squishies aren't that annoying. Sadly it got canned to make room for the markedly inferior second live action movie)

Well.. I know I may very well receive some flak for this... but I kinda enjoyed the Transformer movies, but the games based on the movies were shit. So I am looking forward to a decent transformers game picking up my interest.
