I saw a post on IMDB that said From Paris With Love was John Travolta's best movie since Pulp Fiction. My friend and I have been sitting here talking about it, but I wanted more opinions.

What do you guys think? What is Travolta's best movie since Pulp Fiction?

His only good movie was pulp fiction. Except for maybe Battlefield Earth, which was a masterpiece.

To be honest I liked him quite a bit in Swordfish. Not the ultimate of movies but he played his role pretty nicely.

what about face/off
That's what I was going to say. It might have been completely over the top, but its an enjoyable film.
Face/off gets my vote.

Face/Off, Swordfish, and of course the masterpiece Battlefield Earth.

It kind of depends on your opinion of what makes a good role. I think in Face/Off, regardless of the overall quality of the movie, he played his role brilliantly, managing to appear convincing as Nicholas Cage and himself, if that makes any sense.

But nothing reaches the pinnacle of Battlefield Earth, obviously.

What are you, a scientologist? Battlefield Earth was pseudo-religious propaganda at best, a shitty C-grade sci-fi flick at worst.

The General's Daughter, Get Shorty, Be Cool and Basic are far better movies in terms of Travolta's performance as an actor over Pulp Fiction.

I hated pulp fiction, I also hate people that discuss the contents of the briefcase... its in the title, its a FICTIONAL PIECE OF PULP. end of discussion.

Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000.

"I am going to make you as happy as a baby Psychlo on a straight diet of kerbango."

Brilliant.

Actually he's really good in A Civil Action. And of course, one can't go past his stellar performance in Battlefield Earth...
