Given that my two support semi-mods have moved their RP operations off-site, the people i requested material from have universally failed to deliver and our player count bieng insufficient... i declare Trep 2 indefinately postponed.
If the players show up, the materials arrive and i can be found, we are all systems go.

I've tried to salvage the RP forum, very unsuccessfully, a number of times (due to my own impotence rather than it's un-saveability), i have little motivation now to come to it's rescue.Danzorz said:

The Escapist is still fantastic for articles and videos, but in any thread worth discussing, posts are never read and discussion is eerily absent.
I will still play Trep if it launches, but the amount of effort it is requiring to get a decent off the ground has become absurd, and i have not the time or the patience to fight that battle. When it starts becoming work, the whole point of me coming here for enjoyment is rendered moot.
Hell, i haven't done an Ultrapost in so long my fingers ache, the effort of putting fire and overt zealotry into a post just feels so much less when it is swept off the page in two minutes in favor of a few more 'Religion is evil' posts. Getting a little off-topic from RP, but it needed to be said. Where's the point in crafted sarcasm when complexity has become an excuse to ignore?
I know i might rankle a few hairs with this post, but the only thing left of the idea that the Escapist is a haven of intelligence is the fact that everybody says it is, while spelling the phrase poorly and informing everyone again that Halo is a crap game. I've seen more involved and vigorous debate regularly on /b/.
So i will still be here, and ready to leap on Trep if it lives. But like i said, i'm not working extra hours in a day so i can endure what should be my relaxation time of an evening.
Fair enough and i have noticed some of this too. but remember Ultra. People like you, who do make mega-posts and put wit and sarcasm into their works, they are the reason the Escapist is great. not only do you contribute, but you also show newcomers what is expected of the escapist. So Joe. You can help save the Escapist. Every intelligent comment helps save the escapist.Ultrajoe said:
