You know I thought it was a little weird today that the final killcam was a quickscope...hmm no I'm contemplating going back to MW2

OT: I have noticed that it is common for developers to openly say or support one thing but go around and change their stance either last minute (*cough*Medal of Honor*cough*) or to change gameplay mechanics because some people couldnt deal with the change.
Making a 'game for the people' sound good in theory, but it doesn't always come off. I actually think that MW2 is worse for indulging annoying desires, but I'm not sure how many people would share that opinion.

I have honestly never seen anyone quick scoping on BlOps yet, so I can't comment on that. Anyways even if someone was quick scoping my automatic weapon beats them every time. I can't seem to quick scope are you sure it is back to normal I haven't noticed a difference? (although this may be because I am bad at it :p)

Also, why do people complain about the AK74U? I do much better with other guns, it is not overpowered. A lot of people use it, therefore you have a higher chance of getting killed with it. It has bad accuracy and I prefer the PM63 (I think that's its name) or MP5K.

if complaints sided towards one option heavily outweigh the complaints gearing towards the opposite choice, the logical decision for a developer is to cater to the dominant number of complaints, naturally.

I also heard someone say that they had said the map packs would be free for PC (think that guy misunderstood "charging for internet play"). But doesn't surprise me, just another reason not to buy the game.

I guess I'm in the minority of people that liked the idea of less quick-scoping,
But there's the thing, sniping wasn't even possible before the path reducing sniping. In a game like Call of Duty, "actually sniping" just plain does not work. The game is to fast paced. In a game like Battlefield, where it is generally long range fighting, and a lot of people in open, sure.

quieter foot steps
Before the patch, ninja was almost useless, even Ninja pro. You couldn't here them at all (even though I never used it, I find that Sound whores in this game aren't as bad as they were in MW2). Hacker seems to be the best third perk.

I'm fairly certain that Treyarch have just gone back on a lot of stuff in their game. They made quite a big deal of nerfing quick-scopers, but they un-nerfed it with the patch? Same deal with footsteps - they made them louder. And apparently when the game first came out there was no sound when you plant and defuse a bomb...but now there is. I like the idea of these things being nerfed, so why are Treyarch just giving in and changing them back?

I'm not here to complain about quick-scopers or how people play, I want to complain about Treyarch giving in and changing features they advertised as major difference before the game came out.

What do you guys think about the changes? And can you think of any more?
Treyarch listen to gamres to see what the community wants, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

If they didn't listen to the community then we would not have Nazi Zombies which more than equals out some bullshitty twirly whirly quick scope crap which only the slow of brain and quick of ADHD find fun

I don't care if they fix the unbalanced, I don't care about a few glitches or bugs here or there, I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT HAVING IT CRASH EVERY TEN BLOODY MINUTES. Shit is getting ridiculous to the point it crashes when fetching stats after a crash.

Here's what everyone living above ground read: I am a complete idiot who needs EVERYTHING scientifically named down to version number because I hate having to assume that this game just might be one one the best known games of this generation, and I can't ask a friend because I'm the only person living under my rock.

Way to go loser, you're a shameless douchebag

I guess it's all down to opinion because I don't think that Nazi Zombies makes up for anything. I suppose they are listening to gamers, it's just a shame it looks like they're giving in.

I'd be happy with a game made up of 10 zombie maps to be honest lol.

The SP was fantastic on black ops which was a huge bonus. The MP is pretty shitty, MW was probably better if you ignore the overpowered kilstreaks.

The best COD game for me would be the

multiplayer from WAW+spawns from MW1
zombie mode from WAW
SP from BO

Louder footsteps finally give a use for Ninja which is nice and actually being able to snipe is good now. There was no point in using the sniper at all because you could just use a SMG or assault rifle and still manage to pick everyone off.

"WAA quick scoping"

Honestly, even post-patch i STILL haven't had a problem with it.
You can say "Treyarch put it back in i'm so angry!" but have you actually played the game? Or did you just see that patch note and assume the worst?

What makes me laugh is how footsteps have been in video games since early Quake times...and no one to date has complained about footsteps...that's like complaining about being able to jump...

IDK I guess 10 year olds don't like it.

The plant/defuse sounds have been in Counter Strike for the last 10 years and haven't gotten a single honest complaint, I don't know why the CoD community is so immature, especially compared to the Counter Strike community.

I didn't actually know about the louder footsteps - I assumed I'd just them properly when the game first came out (used ninja all the time then). And I'm guessing they changed that due to complaints like : "I bought turtle beaches just for this and there's no footsteps wtf?! lolz!"

I did notice planting sounds but it doesn't really make a massive difference anyhow - you should only plant if the area is clear or you have a team mate with you to cover you and the sound of planting.

While the quickscoping is something that needs to stay out it isn't actually all that bad I've found - I still find the majority using assault rifles. Only time I truly had a problem with it was when the patch came out and there was someone hip firing the sniper with 100% accuracy. (That's not an exaggeration, he actually never missed)

I used the bolt action sniper myself recently (forget it's name) and found it to be about the same as before but with a slightly faster zoom time.
