The Escapist can't effectively use that, due to the rules of that contest. It's a creator confidentiality thing, I think.

OT: I'm siding with Neonbob's hope that this particular thread will last on the forums. Other than that, it's pretty informative for those not in the know about trolls. Thanks for putting it up.

What I mean to say was that there will always be people who post on a troll thread. I myself freely admit to being guilty of that on more than one occasion.

We do what we can to be honest. Of course you have groups like E.C.A.P. and TSI who are here to defend the Escapist and speaking on the behalf of these groups I'd say we do a pretty good job, TSI members use IRC to nab offending posts faster than the average bear Escapist, but what else can you do? The rest is up to the mods, and the normal users of the Escapist to not feed the trolls.

Its just how E.F.M can't defend themselves against stupid DSOB's, you could get some of the IRC'er's but they all act MSMD and repeat the same stuff as other EFM verbatim.

AFAIK there hasn't been a successful EFM against a troll assault. This is not an issue with the site but with its members, if you ask me its PBCAK.

Everyone knows that trolls are weak against flaming attacks. A +10 flaming vorpal banhammer is usually an instakill, and that's what I think susan is equipped with.
