Hey guys, I've seen in psychology that there are people who get their articles referenced by others (which is one of the ways to be have what is considered a powerful article if that makes sense) and some people try to get this to happen by making outrageous claims or saying things they know to be wrong.
They do that so then they get referenced by others who are researching the same area, even if only to say 'Bob Smith (XXXX) is so very very dumb'.
