let's be honest we've all been trolled before and some of us have trolled others....today's question you ask? what was the first time you have (or have been) trolled?
I don't pay too much attention to people trying to troll me. Unless they're IRL, in which case, I go girly on their ass and go into hysterics if I'm not winning. (It scares them. I laugh seeing how fast they try and back out of it.)

As for me trolling... Why would I need to? Normally I'm opinionated enough that I don't need to feed anything else into the fires :S

I was kicked from a region in Nationstates and returned under many different aliases (puppet nations) to torment it. Eventually the mods sent me a message worded like it had been written by a mob boss "If you don't leave (region founder) alone we'll delete your nation, and prevent any nation from being created on your computer! Kapeesh?" After that I backed down.

I hardly ever troll, but Spudevil and Maxty (escapist users) have trolled the hell out of me, and now they're permanently on my ignore list.

I might go troll on Shane Dawson's BlogTV session, whenever he has one.

Well damn, I can't find that thread. That'll make my story much less entertaining...

Well, it was a thread about 'What would you change in Dante's Inferno' and my response in that was something along the lines of 'Nothing; the game itself is a bastardization of the source material.'

I thought that thread had died a long time ago but a month or several weeks or some long amount of time after I had forgotten about it, I was being quoted from that thread again. This one guy decided to go off on me. Also, after every single post he made, he edited it to add more things. I often replied quickly so I was never able to reply to his edits (Stupid me never thought to edit my own posts to reply...) After a few back and forths, I labeled him a troll and he got 'offended.' I then went into depth on why his argument was wrong (again) and eventually he gave me a definition on what a 'Bastardization' of something is IIRC.

The greatest thing about that is that he edited his post after showing the definition to get rid of one of the secondary definitions of 'Bastardization'. Because I had been noticing that trend of always editing his posts, I refreshed in a different page before submitting my post and saw that he got rid of that secondary definition that completely supported my argument.

I called him out for that and told him I was done with him. He didn't bother continuing the conversation after that, but he did re-edit his post to put the secondary definition back in. He was minor enough a troll that I could actually argue against him and not appear to be an asshole. I love when that happens.

I don't get trolled. When someone tries to, I just ignore them. If everyone did it trolls would have no reason to bother anyone.

This one time I was in a message board and this guy starts insulting the game, so I just ignored him. It turned out that he was a regular pulling a prank on the rest of us. But since I was ignoring his thread, I didn't know that. Later, I was running a forum game and almost let him play two characters at once because of that... I discovered just in time (although I suspect he would come clean before he actually started playing).

Can't remember. What I do know is that I trolled my brains out on the WoW forums. Though... I called my posts "trollbait" more than actual trolling efforts, because people who liked to cause fights were attracted to my threads rather than it just being me starting the fun.

Ahh... good times.

Never and never. My comments are too happy to be trolled. Because when they are, they turn to smurfs.

The only place/time I have trolled is on the Revolver Magazine forum, and that was mostly trolling newbs whose first post was something like "Slipknot is teh sex!" or something stupid like that. I admit that people are free to like Slipknot or whatever, but if they'd actually looked through the forum before posting they'd know that such opinions are held in extremely low regard (lower than a bow-legged caterpillar).

I remember trolling the both of you. Strangely enough, those are the only two times I've ever done it.

As far as being trolled - you don't even need bait or a net. I'll jump right in the boat.
But with all the splashing about, it becomes hard to tell who's having more fun.

They see me trollin', they hatin'

I don't ever recall trolling anyone or being trolled. I don't really see the point in it.
