Not in the slightest. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, it was everything the first movie could have been if the emergent technology hadn't been holding it back, and while there were one or two bits they could have improved on, there was nothing that actually detracted from the experience for me.

Guess I'm just too easily impressed :p

As much as I dig the Dude, this wasn't one of his better films. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good, if I'm being honest. Though, I must admit...

Yea, it's cheap eye candy, but hey, whatever works.

One of my favourite movies of late, actually. I never saw the original, but I thought the plot of this movie was quite well done - it doesn't have to be original, just well presented. The CGI is unmatched by any other movie (I'm looking at you, CLU), the characters are likeable (Jeff Bridges is great, and Garrett Hedlund is a decent actor), the action was impressive and the setting even more so. Oh, and Olivia Wilde's character's idiosyncrasies were definitely amusing.
To be honest, I don't see what's not to like - unless you happen to hate the guts of every programmer in existence or something.
All my friends enjoyed it too.

I enjoyed it, I can't understand the people who claimed it to be the best movie of the year, or consider it a favorite, but I suppose it could just be because I didn't care that much about it. I did enjoy it, but thinking about it right now, I barely remember anything.

I loved it for the same reason I loved Avatar. Fantastic music that flowed perfectly with the action, and beautiful visuals. Sure the story was utter crap, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment too much.

I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. I thought it was a good successor to the original which also wasn't great story wise but had an interesting setting. I loved the music, liked the darker visuals, and found the characters passable. It wasn't the greatest but it was still a fun watch.

The effects and soundtrack were good, but everything else was utterly cliche. My friends and I actually made a game of predicting each 'sentimental' moment: when it would occur and what it would entail. We got most things right; that's how predictable it was :p

I loved the movie. I took it for what it was, plain and simple.

It had some cool allegories plus the whole notion of adding some cellular automata stuff with the Quorra character was interetsing to me.

But yeah, the movie only made sense after having watched the first.

Plus, Rinzler was just badass.

I liked it. The action was great, the story was passable, and the acting was fine. The sound track was on a level deserving its own sentence. I would watch it in IMAX 3d again if given the opportunity.
