Trying to find a Freeware game

Hi there peoples a few years back I downloaded a small freeware game but I can't remember what it was called.
Basically there were two sides with the same units and all you did was decide how many archers, elephants and other soldiers each side had and then just watched them go at it.
The graphics were simple 2d and fairly colourful
If anyone could help me out that'd be awesome just spent very close to an hour looking through sites
