i like:
MLP: FiM
Sailor Moon as a kid
cried during movies

not big on:
sports
cars
drinking
'guy things' (mostly cause it always seems to involve something i lack the taste for alcohol to get)

donno if it counts, but 99% of my characters are female (when given a choice)

I ACTUALLY LIKE GLEE!

You know what, I had no problem with that until a few days ago. Glee was, at worst, mildly annoying.

Until I saw an ad on TV that had them singing FRIDAY.

WE ONLY LIKE THAT SONG BECAUSE IT'S SO AWFUL. DO NOT VALIDATE IT BY PERFORMING IT ON NATIONAL TV!

I am an absolute sap when it comes to romantic anime/manga.
I can barely bench-press 80lbs and when I do there are severe repercussions on my body.
I fanship almost everything.
I'm both incredibly modest and a prude.

I would say I am fairly close to the initial statement except for these things:
-I can enjoy playing sports with friends, though watching them, not so much.
-I don't consider myself a feminist (But I do like action girl characters)
-I barely watched Sailor Moon
-I'm too much of a coward on stage to do anything theatrical
-I plan on drinking when I turn 21 at least once to satisfy my curiosity, and depending on whether I like it or not will depend on how much I do it afterward.
-I've had a girlfriend (Unfortunately only one)
-If offered it, I probably wouldn't pass down sex unless it was too complicated to arrange
-And as much as I hate to admit it, I have noticed I get slightly competitive when I do some things that I feel I am really good at.

Besides that, I'm about the same.

just adding my two cents
I always play female characters when given the choice.

My favorite genres of music are trance, nightcore, and happy hardcore.

I'm in no way ashamed to admit this:

In addition to shonen, I read shojo manga, and I watch shojo anime. Also, I request Elton John songs on the jukebox in bars.

I have no interest in cars. (Beyond getting from point A to Point B)

Don't drink and I don't plan on ever doing it. (Can't stand the smell of the stuff and I know what it does to your insides)

I've never had a girlfriend.

I want to wait until I'm married before I have sex. (23 years old as of June 16 and still going strong)

I like a good love story.

I'm the sensitive type.

I like to talk about my problems and feelings.
Additionally, I'm very much a thinker/philosopher. If someone claims something significant/that has direct ramifications to my person or those around me, I tend to research it.

Your not alone. My friend said it was a cool show, I watched one episode and then another and before I knew it I'd seen like 5 of them. *shudder* Now I can't stop watching.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I am also in a whole lot of theatrical productions (though here, most people think it is awesome)
I have never had a girlfriend. I've asked quite a few but I'm always shot down.
And I actually like sappy love songs. I tried not to like them but somehow, they are kind of comforting to me.

-I have long hair.
-I have never had a girlfriend.
-I don't give a damn about sports (although, I do enjoy a little hockey from time to time).
-I actually couldn't care less if I got laid anytime soon.
-I regularly watch cartoons.
-I fucking love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
-I actually think the original 1980's My Little Pony cartoon isn't all that bad and is fun to watch.
-I carry around and frequently use a pink USB flash drive.
-I own two stuffed animals who sit next to my bed on my nightstand.
-I occasionally snuggle with said stuffed animals when I'm having a shitty day.
-I think beer is one of the most disgusting and vile things I have ever tasted.

I.....I do ballet.
I play saxophone.
Hold on... how is playing the saxophone unmanly?
Because, for some weird reason, it is.
At least in the place where I live.
I think its got something to do with other people picking up on the phallic connotations inherent in woodwind instruments...I think its mainly the people, rather than the activity. Most conversations go something along the lines of: "Oh, so you're a musician then? What do you play?"
"Well, I kinda play guitar, I can do a wee bit of drumming, but I mainly play saxophone."
"Saxophone, eh.....I see. Interesting."
"What?"
"Oh, nothing much. Not many people play saxophone round here. Must be awkward for you."
"Wait.....what? How?"
"No reason, really..."

I don't like sports. Sports movies are okay because the characters give me a reason to care who wins.

I have no interest in cars.

I liked Sailor Moon when i was a kid.

I've performed in many theatrical productions in high school (people consider that gay for some reason).

Don't drink and I don't plan on ever doing it.
Me too...except for the High School theater thing. I only did one play and one musical in my senior year. I really wish I joined Theater earlier on though.

Personally, I don't want a career: I wanna be a stay-at-home house-husband.

All that, and I bake amazing cookies. Well, the sports thing, I love the X-Games, but besides that, I don't care for sports.

Mine have all been said by at least one other person but oh well:

I watch My Little Po

I actually enjoy finding movies, books, music and games that are so sad or moving that they make me cry. I'm probably not in the minority there too, on this forum at least.

I don't like beer, I only drink spirits.

I find watching any sport incredibly boring. Though I'm always up for playing some.

I like a fair amount of cutesy stuff, though like most people I do have my limit. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TastesLikeDiabetes]

Being a man is having confidence in who you are, no matter what that is.

Just because some jock chops wood and smokes cigars doesn't mean he's a man if he's still an insecure git underneath all that facade.
Well said, my friend. ;)

I still own all the beanie babies from when I was little, purely out of nostalgia. And still play with them from time to time.

However, they've never attempted to reclaim my man card on account of my having turning into a gun nut and seeding the yard with land mines :D

What is considered manly? Being manly isn't what other people consider you to be, it is what YOU consider yourself to be.
Yes! Don't let others tell you how/what you should feel. Let them tell you that what you should feel should be your own feelings...

What.

That reminds me of those above the influence commercials. Be above the influence of others, but be influenced by this commercial to be not influenced by others?
So just do whatever you want to do, no one cares about you but you so just, like, do whatever. Not in like a no one cares about you in a negative sense, but more as being free from the chains of being concerned about loved ones kind of meaning.

*on-topic* I've put more thought into why people care about abstract-self-imposed-not-based-on-reality-norms-just-because-I-have-a-penis-or-not than questioning if I am 'manly' or not.
