Pokemon. No other game was better designed to be an MMO. I've heard there is one out there but have not seen any info on it. *needs to remember to look*

Ah, I guess I know why now.

I think a Fallout MMO could work. Make it like the NV hardcore, food/water/rest are required to survive.
About that... [http://www.fallout-on-line.com/]

There is no Pokemon fan who doesn't want this. Nintendo: Can you hear our screams of desire?

Pokemon hands down, it's a fucking lame response but growing up with it... I would play it, I would play it hardcore, I would ruin my life with it (I'm 23 years old lol).

I don't play video games much anymore, but pokemon would drag me back into the whole waste your life semi depressed cycle.

And yes, if world of warcraft didn't exist, and someone in the room said "Warcraft", I would completely agree.
You *ahem* people realize that Pokemon is practically an MMO now what with the Nintendo WiFi connection and all. ¬_¬

I concur, and there is an excellent regenerating storyline for infinite expansions. Last raid boss in original release? Archfiend from DA:O. Last boss in first expansion? Mother. Last boss in 2nd expansion? Another Archfiend, different incarnation! Seriously, battling darkspawn, wild animals, etc (especially in the deep roads, where there are infinite darkspawn) would rock so hard. And can you imagine the cities filled with actual people? Amaranthine and Denerim filled with "trade chat?" Would be unbelievable. DA MMO could be the WoW killer.

To choose something that hasn't been said, Starcraft.

Starcraft, because we know that Blizzard know full well what they're doing when it comes to MMO's that or Diablo, but starcraft strays further away from WoW.

Not really, data aint saved onto an external server, it's all saved on your pokemon SD card still (Haven't seen to many MMOs in which some data is atleast saved on the interwebs).

I'm practically a pilot, because I can fly a plane on a flight simulator but it doesn't make me a pilot. You're just being picky, it's just got some online features, but which games don't these days.... When people want a pokemon RPG, they aint talking about first gen type pokemon gameplay... they want a world of warcraft type game with all the original 150 pokemon in which you can duel your pokemon somewhat more human controlled rather than "PRESS HYPER BEAM".

Well initially I thought WOW stole Diablos thunder, WoW is basically what Diablo should have been :(

GTA MMO anyone? Multiplayer was hilarious when it actually worked right. Imagine stepping out of your safe house to start gaming and the first thing you see is crazed drivers being chased by police up and down the roads. Just another day in Liberty City.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R would be pretty cool (even though I really sucked at it). A "proper" Resident evil MMO would be sweet instead of that "thing" they put out for the PS2...outbreak I wanna say? Oh and like everyone else said an MMO set in the Elder scrolls universe would be pretty awesome as well.

I'd turn my back on my loved ones for any of these:
1. Shadowrun
2. Werewolf: The Apocalypse
3. Vampire: The Masquerade
4. A Vampire/Werewolf crossover (Humans vs. Vampires vs. Werewolves = happy in my pants)

I'd love to see a Star Wars action-MMO. Think of it like a cross between the upcoming TOR and Jedi Knight games. I could put down a lot of details, but would just result in too long a post so just imagine a huge ass 3D world with BioWare's storytelling a-la-Mass Effect 2, Jedi Knight melee combat (obviously improved, with more basic and combo moves gained through levels) and ranged combat (again, with some serious moves and gadgets thrown in) and space combat similar to Battlefront or something, with guild cruisers you can organize battles with, having both boarding and space combat squads etc.

Resident Evil. Imagine it as if it were a Fallout MMO, but then lose the retro-futurism theme and add zombies.

Megaman Battle Network, because I love it irrationally and it screams to be made into an MMO.

I also thought of pokemon, but personally I think it would be better suited to more or less a sports sim with a lot of online support. (You would be a gym leader/trainer instead of some random kid and have to worry about how to raise prestige and money for your gym).

GTA4 needs a zombie mode, it's just hit me :/ Oh, and replace the police with quarantine army associates, and make it an MMO :D

These but number 1 a thousand times over. Based on PnP version, (have you seen the amount of backstory available?), and not the dodgy FPS that by all accounts bombed...
