I was thinking we could make a top 5 of our favourite TV series and then recommend new series to each other. Considering that ALL my series are currently on breaks, I desperately need to get my fix...

So.. Just for starters; a list of my all time favourite TV series, in order of the ones I like the most:
1. Community
2. Psych
3. Doctor Who
4. The Walking Dead
5. Torchwood

Psych - Hilarious comedy
Burn Notice - It knows when to be serious and when to be funny
Whose Line is it Anyway? - Colin Mochrie + Ryan Stiles; need I say more?
Spongebob - Mah childhood
Mythbusters - Hilarious, educational, interesting

Based on watch time, no order. If Friendship is Magic goes on for more than two seasons I think it will eventually surpass Spongebob.

Fave: Doctor Who
Others: Torchwood
Being Human (original)
Spaced
Inbetweeners
Primeval
The IT Crowd

If you haven't seen it, get the Spaced boxset. It's some of the very first Pegg and Frost.

I can't put anything like that in an order; can't bring myself to say anything's better than the other :p

Burn Notice
Dexter
Chaos
Community
Camelot/Merlin
South Park
American Dad

I watch too many things, so there's a few that come to mind as thoroughly enjoyable.

can't think of a fifth that I genuinely like(d)...

1. Doctor Who
2. Primeval
3. Torchwood
4. House M.D.
5. Top Gear

Special mention: Pushing Daises, Sherlock, and Superjail.

I sense a theme...most of my favorites were made in a specific place that I don't happen to live in. Hmmm...

In no particular order:

-George Lopez
-How I Met Your Mother
-Wilfred
-Through the Wormhole (with Morgan Freeman)
-Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t
-Two & A Half Men

I'm not into many TV shows at the minute (Supposing they're story-driven and I have not seen it before) because I dislike picking up shows in the middle.

Sherlock was three...and it's getting another three some time this year. :) Just sayin. But it was really good and I'm looking forward to the new stuff...whenever it comes out.
