Would love to see Invader Zim brought back. I understand Nickelodeon cancelled it after it came to light that its high ratings were not due to the age demographic they were shooting for. I recently gave my nephew the dvd box set. So far even at 6 yrs old he likes it.

Farscape was simply amazing. Tied with Babylon 5 for my all time favorite Sci-fi shows(though Farscape has aged a lot better). I'm glad we were able to get the finale movie at the end, but I would definitely preferred a final season. Scorpius is my favorite character of all time.

Also a fan of Dead Like Me. Really interesting and original premise. Didn't realize they had an ending movie. I need to go track that down.

Legend of Korra. After the abysmality of the second season I can't really blame people for not tuning in to season 3. But by God they should have. It's easily the best season yet, and can stand toe to toe with The Last Airbender. At one point I thought it was basically everything I like about anime, mixed with the best aspects of western animation and devoid of nearly everything I hate about anime.

If we're not just talking current shows, I thought Stargate Atlantis did a good job of salvaging a bad premise. Seriously, I went from not being able to bear season 1 to having the collection on Blu-Ray. It's not, like, SUPER AWESOME, but it did good with what it had.
Yeah, as much as some folk hated the lose of the isolation theme the show got better with two additions. The introduction of the Daedalus and ditching Ford for Ronin. After watching the first episode of Atlantis all I could think of was, bad guys show up out of blue, bad guys kidnap a group of good guys team, good guys go after bad guys, good guys find out that bad guys need good guys to live, good guys find out bad guys are a hell of a lot more powerful than they are or to put it another way SGA starts out exactly as SG1 did.

On a side note Universe did get a second chance from me. I hated it at first, it was way too slow paced and as a long term SG1 and SGA fan the new style of show just did not gel well but I gave it a second chance a year after it had been canned, bought it on DVD and ended up liking it. It really did get much better after the mid way point of the first Season.

Emmerich reboots.
Emmerich can suck it, I've got no issue with a reboot but the whole attitude of hating on the TV series after he sold the rights, claiming like his reboots will be the only definitive Stargate because that's what his original vision for the franchise was and ignoring the entire expanded SG universe. He can bite it.

I feel like both Chowder and the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack deserved a bit longer of a runtime. They were fantastic surreal comedies you don't get to see too often.

Excluding Young Justice (it doesn't need me to mention it) I nominate these shows-

Sym-bionic Titan- Ok the show was repeatitive with the monster of the week but I would like to see it actually finish.

Thundercats 2011- I was far more invested in this show among the reboot cartoons show. Come on! I want to see Lion O defeat Mumra once and for all!

Wonder Fall- It had a quirky little synopis and from the sound of the potential future plot (another plastic lion that is not deform tell the main character to do bad things) it had potential.

The Tick- It was short lived but awesome show!

My vote is for Carnivale(2003- 2005), a surreal story about a carnival traveling the Dustbowl during the Depression. Had some really interesting imagery and notions about the spirit world, and mixed biblical lore in with some homebrew strangeness.

I really liked Lie to Me, I'm not sure why it's ratings kept dropping (which lead to it's cancellation), I didn't think the show was getting bad, or even worse, I felt it stayed at a pretty steady "pretty good" throughout the whole series, but shit happens I guess.
I felt Lie to me lost its way in the middle of the second series. I think he writers started grabbing at straws, adding and removing love interests after a few appearances and downgrading the supporting cast. Adding conflict for no reason between Lightman and his staff. It all got a bit messy.

Andromeda. Lexa Doig in skin tight leather .... oh, and it may have had a plot.
Making Tyr a mustache twirling villain and killing them off killed the show. First two seasons were great, third season had some great standalones, but after that it went downhill.

Stargate Atlantis was a god damned great show. The characters were so fun and vibrant that it just made the show enjoyable to watch, no matter where the plot went. I think it was a smart move to make the comic relief characters to be the scientists rather than the military personnel (like in SG1), since I always found the "science" episodes so boring in SG1.

I'm told that the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation is so-so. I know from experience that the following seasons are excellent.

So, it's basically proven that people only read the title of posts, right? Jesus Christ.

Beavis and Butt-Head. The first season is basically a fart. It gets amazing later on.

I would say the Legend of Korra. The first season has the love triangle. The second season has loads of Issues which I personaly can look past. But the third season is just amazing and that ending just made me think: "Holy uncle fucking shit balls!"
