cannot describe the amounts of awesome involed here.
That looks like they should make a guest appearance in Borderlands 2.

In other words, a huge amount of awesomeness. (resisting urge to make "over 9000" joke)

An animated t.v. series of the Horus Heresy. I think following the main arc, Horus Rising to Flight of the Eisenstein, would be best. If extras could be made too, I'd definitely chuck in some of the anthologies and Legion. I should really read it first though >.>.
I dunno so much of the Heresy from the books is seriously fucking dumb, horus turns evil due to a magic talking sword, Sorcery'd definition changed, etc. that it would come across as silly to me.

That would be cool.

Although, personally I would prefer an original story set in the 40K universe. Preferably one that actually moves forward in the 40K timeline and makes some changes similar to what DoW II: Retribution was doing.

Now I just need to think of which animation "style" would be good...
Anime doesn't seem to be a bad choice. It's cheaper than CG anyway. Right?
And again you ninja me, Nouw - I second your call for a Horus Heresy TV show.
As for animation style, I'd actually propose high quality American animation. Ever watched the animated series of Todd McFarlane's Spawn? That's what I'm talking about - wonderfully detailed, dark and gritty, perfect for W40k.

And how has no one mentioned a return of Firefly...

Teach me to leave wait on posting while I eat lunch.
Haha, brilliant!
The thread is still young, that's why it wasn't mentioned yet.

The Belgariad and the Mallorean by David Eddings. It might be best as some sort of mini-series perhaps.

BAH! If I had been on here at 11:55 it would have been the FIRST one mentioned! Honestly how did we manage to find the 21 people on this website who <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-yHSaP0Dyg>didn't even cry when Walsh died? It's a TRAVESTY I tell ya!
Well, I didn't cry. Was definitely an "o shit" moment.

And that is a damn shame, innit?

You know, there's this concept i came up with about a week ago. I thought it'd work best as a movie but i'm sure a TV show could work just as well:

You see, it should be a movie (or, in this case, a show) based on the life of Jesus and his apostles. But instead of telling the story as we know it, it should actually show them as a gang of con-artists, travelling through the holy land, trying to trick people into thinking Jesus actually is the son of god. You know, i'm not anti-religious or anything but i think it would be a very interesting spin on the New Testament.

I wouldn't mind seeing a show about The Malazan Book of the Fallen.

But I'm 99% certain hollywood would totally mess that up. So no.

That would be incredibly awesome. And no one would ever dare do it. Damn you hardcore believers!!

A TV series about a U-boat crew and the live of a submariner. Or maybe a retelling of the German raider Atlantis.

A real show I want to see done again? Junkyard wars [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapheap_Challenge] was a part of my childhood and I watched it with my Dad. I wish it still was on TV :/

Oh Gods, yes. It would have been perfect had they stuck with the original plan of twenty-four episodes.

I'd love to see a new Twilight Zone type sci-fi anthology show, the closest thing I can think of from recent memory is Black Mirror, which was great but onlyn had three episodes.

I'm gonna pull the pony card here. I think if you spelled HUB with the letters H, B, and O in that order, you would get a cute aesthetic show with more interesting issues and character studies than you have now. I'm thinking like a serious Happy tree friends minus the comical deaths.

I just saw a little snippet and I like the art style but I'm not sure if I can properly imagine 40K in that world yet. Nevertheless, I think it'd still be pretty good.
