Yes, yes, and yes. I've seen a "good amount" of the content on there and mostly just hit the random button until I'm bored, which takes from 15 min. to possibly an hour.

I've been there. I don't really see why it can take hours of people's lives away though. I've spent about an hour of my life there, but I don't see how it can be addictive.
This. I've been told it's like an internet black hole, from which escape is impossible. I spend maybe 15+ minutes anytime I go there, which isn't a lot.

Tv Tropes is usually where I spend my study hall. I just love to find out the origins of the cliches and interesting subversions of them.

I love it, but I usually end up spending way too much time there, and having way too many tabs open.

The most I've spent there was 20 minutes. I like the site and find it entertaining and fun to read, but I've never felt that "can't escape" feeling.

I've spent ages on it. I contribute, and write lots of reviews for it too, in the reviewing section.

Longest I was stuck there was only 7 and a half hours. Apparently that's nothing in comparison to others.
How about one month? Part of it was spent hunting down tropes to add to the Buffy page to make it even bigger. I found ALOT of tropes to add. I think I might have doubled it's size, and it was already arguably the biggest page on TvTropes.
I meant in 1 sitting.

God forbid you were on there for a month.

If you meant constantly though, I'll still probably fear the thought.

Yesterday I got reeled in for four hours when I only meant to read one page. That site just draws you in.

Seen it, and it sucked me in real bad.

They should have called it a "Stiki" rather than a Wiki

I remember that someone posted a link to TvTropes on here. I followed the link and I was on there for hours.

Really, I was just sitting there, reading stuff for hours...
I'm scared to go back. If I do, I'll probably going to forget to have lunch or something...

I believe there's even a trope for THAT. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TropeOverdosed]

OT: Yes, I'm currently browsing it as we speak. The Homestuck page [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Homestuck] has me totally trapped because it has so many neat extras <3 I spent about 6 hours on it last night, and only stopped cause I needed to go to bed before sunrise.

The problem with it is that every article has links every few words to more articles and you just get caught up in reading everything. It's very entertaining, and it helps that very often you'll go, 'I noticed that in this anime/TV show/book/game/movie!' But I haven't met anyone who was totally engrossed by it. It's not like WoW, the game that stole so many of my friends from me. I can see how one could get obsessed though.

Know it, love it, favorite bookmark. I find it pretty awesome, I found some very interesting stuff through that site. In the recent past though my pink googles of love for TV Tropes have somewhat lost their color. I find some of the articles, especially in the games section, too "fanboy-y" and uncritical. Also the use of some tropes (ie. "Ho-Yay") is too gratious for my tastes (not every freaking buddy comedy has homoerotic undertones, goddamn). Nevertheless, its an awesome site, very addictive and a great place to find stuff you didnt know about.
