My boyfriend lucked out when he started dating me. All he guy friends have to take their girlfriends to Twilight, while I have absolutely no interest. In fact I have the opposite of interest, I abhor the series in it's entirety.

So yeah. Don't see Twilight, it could save your life. lulz.

How is it ironic? It's funny, sure, but I don't see the irony.

It's perhaps not ironic, but the 'joke' of it is that many people hate twilight. The fact that someone died whilst watching it; it therefore being bad enough to induce death, means people are mistaking funny coincidence for irony.
