To all people that still say that there is hope for humanity, I present to you The MTV Movie Awards. The Twilight Movie won 5 out of the 7 available MTV Movie Awards. Namely: Best Picture, Best Fight, Breakthrough Male, Female Performance and Best Kiss. I don't know what's the saddest. The fact that some people genuinly like this movie so much or that the same people are allowed to run a international company. It really shouldn't surprise me that much and yet it does.

This may well be the case, but I can't help feeling that the MTV awards represent the average (read: stupid) person's opinion far better than the Academy Awards do.

I know this hasn't exactly been a great year for films, but come on! There were plenty of better movies than Twilight; it didn't deserve to win anything!
