Wow i can understand the guy's reaction to a child not having his DNA. But taking it away and then threatening the lady with death because cheated on him due to him being an asshole? Well i guess and asshole's always an asshole.

Edit: Hang Him by the balls,, the BALLS i say
Really?

He kept the son which was biologically his, disowning the one that isn't. He won custody (like in any divorce proceeding), and is pretty angry. I would be too.

When did we start accepting it as a guy's fault when he's cheated on? Reverse the situation:

"How dare Elizabeth Edwards divorce her husband, and take the kids, and make him go through a political mess, all because he cheated on her because she was a *****/frigid/insert adjective"

Take any other male cheater, and try to phrase it as "his wife deserved it". You'd get yelled off the forum. Don't blame a man for making the same choice that many women here in America would make if cheated on.

Wow... well, I've learnt something today.
I didn't know that something like that was even possible, but, then again, biology isn't exactly a specialty of mine...

The situation is slightly different, seeing as she was forced to marry him, but yeah, I agree with you. I would be mightily pissed if my wife was a cheater.

If it wasn't a forced marriage I'd probably agree with you otherwise.

Um.... how is that possible?

That can't be possible. You can't get pregnant by two different guys at the same time.

Must have been one crazy 3 way.
Actually, you can. It's called "Heteropaternal Superfecundation" (from the article), and it's when a woman has two eggs ready to be fertalized, and only one is fertalized when intercourse occurs. Then, later, if she has intercourse with someone else, that person could fertalize the other egg. It's extraordinarily rare, but it can happen.

The article clarifies it (it's rare in humans, not as rare in animals).

I apologize if I was rude.

I've always been aware of this to an extent but I guess I never really thought about it until I actually heard it happened.

Yes basically that's what happened. Maybe she was made to sleep with the husband and then nipped over to the boyfriend's house to get hubby's love-stink off her with some real action...

I don't really know, but it certainly is unusual.
That's.... gross.
I feel bad for the zygote, even if it was only a few cells at the time.

Thanks for the info. I was really curious as to how this happens. :D

I must say, poor soul.

Being forced to marry this asshole, an incredibly rare turn of events reveal that her twins are from two different fathers, her sons are taken away, and she receives death threats.

Fucking assholes is all I can say.
We're forgetting that she cheated on her husband. Not that the Death Threats or Sons taken away are right in anyway, but its not like she's innocent here.

I'm really hoping you're kidding about the first part. I mean, it's probably right, but you did make light of her infidelity, which I do have to blanche at.

"Edwards probably slept with his cancer-wife out of pity, then nipped over to his girlfriend's house to get her love-stink off of him with some real action". Yeah, that doesn't sound horrible.

It's proably very rare, but not impossible.

I don't know any possible way where it could happen, but I guess it can.

Heh heh I was kidding actually, though on re-reading it it does come off as kinda gross doesn't it. I like the fact that adding "cancer-wife" to it makes me sound much worse than I intended though lol.

Does no one remember some time last year when there was stuff on the news about the african american woman (in america) who had the same thing happen, but her husband stuck with her.

I cant find the link at the moment tho,

I don't think she did anything wrong. I mean after all, the guy she was cheating with was her lover since long before she was forced to marry that douchebag. I wouldn't be able to just give up love because my family forced me too.

I have cousins who are paternal twins. Both were by the same father though, it was actually a result of an already irregular birth control pill ingestion cycle being momentarily interrupted and my cousins were conceived two weeks apart.

Mebbe she shouldnt be a dirty whore ? Possibly ?

Whatever happened to fidelity ?
What? So she's a dirty whore because she continued to be together with the one she loved after her family forced her to marry a douche?
