Not the baseball team
Not the horrible movie

Actual twins. What do you think of them? I have had a twin brother my whole life, we're classified as identical though being in our 30's and having had different life experiences we're not exactly identical (for example i weigh about 10 pounds more and we have different tattoos/haircuts) Though if we were 3 piece suits most people couldn't tell us apart.
In high school we went to each others classes on no less than 3 occasions. If we're walking together people tend to notice us and try not to stare... adult twins freak people out, especially 6'6" (198 cm) ones.

We have very similar personalities. We both are college educated police officers/detectives both married girls from Europe (my wife is French his is Italian). We both were in bands in (sometimes the same band) playing in the rhythm section. Played the same sports in high school/college. It's hard not to wonder if your copying each other or if you come to the same conclusions on your own. It's been great in someways because you always have a friend from day one who gets everything about you.
Sucks at times too, have you ever been in a fight with someone who knows and can predict your every move/argument?

There are some distinctions though such as my brother's love of cars and guns which i have never shared, he 'outgrew' comic books while i never did. I prefer cats while he prefers dogs. Etc.

I ask the escapist.

What do you think of twins?
If you had one (or do) what do you think your relationship would be like?
general twin questions or thoughts.

I don't know what a relationship to a twin would be like. But they do seem to have some special "connection" to each other. (At least, the only twins I know do, or did. Haven't seen them in a while.)

Eh, I don't see the issue. Really, a twin is a just a sibling the same age(ish) and sex as you, who looks more like you than usual. Anything else isn't likely to be relevant in day to day life.

There's not much to "think" about twins. Different people do different things.

However, one thing that bugs me a lot is how some parents of twins fucking dress them "to match" and make them go do the same things all the time. Hell, I saw a pair of twins dressed the same taking guitar lessons together one time. I just hate parents who think that their babies are like dress up dolls...

Thankfully, my parents did not do this. Mostly because our entire wardrobe until mid-teens consisted of hand me downs.
People seem to do it a lot more with females.

What do I think of them? Not much, to be honest. I don't remember the last time 'twins' crossed my mind.

There was a pretty hot pair of identical twins who used to come into the bar I worked at, though. Dressed identical, too, just they had a streak or purple on different sides of their hair. They both got the same drink, though, so I didn't really have to differentiate between them, even to get their drinks order right when the bar was loud. :p

Uh, I guess I express a certain ambivalence towards twins.

I know a few and it's weird in so much that the way to tell the difference between them (in two pairs) is to look at hair length and facial hair. The third pair are fraternal b/g twins, so not much of a talking point there...

One thing, slightly off-topic, that bugs me is when two people are mistaken for twins when they blatantly aren't. My sisters, when they were in high school were constantly confused with each other and thought of as twins, even though there's a two year age difference, looked nothing like each other and had vastly different personalities/interests. And then, there's me and my best friend, and some people think we're brothers at the least, even though I'm Oriental, and he's white! Seriously, WTF?!

It would be nice to be one, but I don't really care when I see them. Its just two people who look similar/same to me. I see that everyday anyway because most people look the same to me until I get to know them.

Identical twins scare the bejeezis out of me! I've been in many a situation where I've seen one guy and then their twin is in the same room. It's just too weird!

Nnnnn... first term that came to mind. Though, it's not much of a slur in the UK. I was going to put 'Asian', but since 'Asian' refers to quite a lot of people, hardly helps.

OK, I will clarify: I'm Chinese, and he's Danish! Seriously, WTF?!

... happy?! -_-

I don't understand why people try not to stare, as you say. I would find the fact that it is unusual to see twins rather pleasant; of course, that is not to say that I would see in it only amusement, but it would be my immediate honest feeling. I don't know whether you do, but if I had a twin, I would take this as a compliment.

However, on the other hand, if I had a twin, I would either seek to murder him or make it obvious that I am the evil one. World is too small for two copies of me to be running around, especially with the same personality.

Judging by the number of daily reactions i've gotten my whole life when i went anywhere with my brother i find it hard to believe this many people don't react when they see identical twins.

'east-Asian/pacific islander' is the box you'd check on government forms.

Me and my brother wore matching/similar clothes a lot of the time growing up, and we're not even twins (15 months apart). And honestly, young boys don't care what they're wearing as long as it's comfortable. We were also pretty hard on the "if he gets something, then I should get something equal" for years. One time I actually got a GameBoy for his birthday, and we both got a game for mine.

My dad's best friend, Bob, had an identical twin that I had heard about, but never seen. I didn't see him until Bob's funeral, it was a bit odd.

... *checking...*

Actually, over here, it'd either be 'South-east Asian' or 'Chinese'. It used to be 'Oriental', until about five or six years ago.

Still, I was in the same class as a pair of twins in grade school, so it never seemed odd to me. Get past the initial and mild surprise, it doesn't bother me. *shrug*

I find twins interesting because of genetics, and why there is such a thing as twins. It's pretty interesting as far as things go.

Well my brother has [a href=http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BaldOfEvil]a shaved head[/a] but i have a [a href=http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BeardOfEvil] beard as pictured[/a]. So the jury is out on who is the evil one.
