Twitch viewers... Anyone else have this problem?

I'll admit, I'm really only a casual streamer. I'm not trying to really build a channel, I just like the novelty of sharing so I only ever get a couple people... but so far...

Got one guy that harassed me about joining my game,
Got another guy that wanted me to transfer my game license to him,
Got two more people that were just mocking me and calling me a ****** in the chat

Obviously with the last one I didn't engage. And I'm playing on the Xbox so I couldn't like ban them from the chat, but is the community just volatile little assholes? Or have I just gotten bad apples lately? I've only been streaming for like a week.

It's always been kinda bad, but generally it's at least pseudo rational. If all of your viewers are doing this then you might appear ripe for trolling or something.

I mean friday night, I'm a fat white guy playing GTA... eh.. maybe.

This is very, very surprising to me because I've been on Twitch for three years almost daily and I've seen it happen very rarely on smaller channel. I've noticed that some games have a worse community than others, since you're playing on the Xbox and had that much problem I would guess you were playing either Call of Duty or Destiny, right ?

If it's not the case then I guess you just had bad apples.

I mostly play GTA Online.

I mean I shouldn't be shocked people being mean on the internet, but fuck me I can't understand the joy anyone gets just popping into a stream, calling me a fag and then getting annoyed that I'm not interacting with them.
