Over reaction much? By all means invesigate something like this but when it's shown he just had a bad day give him a slap on the wrist and let it go. Surely there are much more important cases the courts could be working on.

Sounds like the story of that ex-military dude who paraphrased fight club in his facebook status to express his displeasure at poor apple store service which got him visited by the police. Same question then "Who took this seriously enough to report it?"

I think his chastisement has gone on long enough, it's surely been a punishing ordeal for him so far, give him a break and you can be sure he wont make even slightly flippant remarks in the future.

See, this is funny. Not just because this story comes from England (which it does), but also because America has a Supreme Court, not a High Court. So you didn't even have to read the article to avoid this mistake. If you'd known anything at all about the American Court System in the first place, you would've known America had nothing to do with this just by reading the article's TITLE.
