Man, don't know about City, but Dune was hard to sit through even without the added scenes...

Ben-Hur would be epic. The chariot scene especially, that would be mind blowing

Full Metal Jacket and 2001: A Space Oddyessy.

Stanley Kubrick was the greatest director of all time.
Please don't flame me for that.

GAH! Curse you!

I've just had Dark City as an exam film and I thought it was TERRIBLE. Seriously, kind of starts of well, some interesting shots, which Proyas seemingly gave up on half way through filming. However, one of my biggest gripes is with people saying how good the film looks. No, nuh uh, not buying it. The shifting city I think looks awful, what's with the weird ray-gun power coming out of their heads! Seriously, watch it, then watch the Matrix, which came out a YEAR later. Yes it's vaguely interesting mise en scene but Blade Runner looks and feels much better in that department.

With regards to it being sci-fi but still 'arty' no, no. It's fucking stupid. The plot is shit, and stupid. And as for Kiefer Sutherland, "eeh, huh, I am... acting, yes? A-haha". Angry!

First would have to be The Fall. This movie is just visually stunning and meant to be seen with the biggest screen possible. I mean, there is so much eye candy in this movie you might get eye-diabetes (Ba-dum-tish!)

Also Serenity because I didn't even know about the show or the movie when they came out and I would of loved to support the slight revival of this series.

Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption. Both brilliant films.
I got to see Shawshank on the big screen as part of a school subject. Media Studies. We were supposed to go and deconstruct the film piece by piece, but no-one did that. Everyone was too busy watching one of the greatest movies of all time.

I'd love to see A Clockwork Orange or The Shining - more to see everyone else's reactions around me. I'd also love to see Saving Private Ryan, but that one's already been said.

I seriously wouldn't be able to narrow my choices to two. There are so many masterpieces from the good generation (before the 00's) of film.

I'd want to see Pulp Fiction and Equilibrium on the big screen, but if I had to choose only one of those two, it'd be Equilibrium in a heartbeat. Do you wanna know why?

This is why http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbP2djP0h5g

I missed Mongol when it came out in theaters. That's my first choice.

For my second choice, I would probably pick Amarcord or Nosferatu, the original.
