1) Smart movie choices. I never go to the cinema for a bad movie. Unless it's with friends, in which case it's hell alot of fun ,aking fun of it.

2) Sometimes. Like in Inception. The end credit music was really really good, so I stuck around to listen to it. For a minute or so. :p .

OR maybe in Harry Potter 8. In which we all stood up and clapped. Yeah. <.<

1) I've never walked out of a movie and I'm determined never to do so for content-related reasons. I refuse to even take restroom breaks, instead forgoing any drinks for at least an hour beforehand.

Closest would be Eyes Wide Shut, but that was because the relative I brought with me was being a dick in insisting we leave. Other movies that made me want to leave: The Spirit was hideously obnoxious and unpleasant to sit through, Topsy-Turvy and Street Kings bored me to tears, and when I got roped into second-showings of Transformers, Spider-Man 3, and Avatar, I got really restless because they were so much worse on a repeat viewing.

Also, when I got prodded into seeing Transformers: Dark of the Moon and The Amazing Spider-Man, I convinced my companion to get tickets for Horrible Bosses and Safety Not Guaranteed, respectively, because I didn't want to be an economic accomplice of a social problem.

There are movies I only saw partially due to scratched DVDs that I've been meaning to watch. I haven't watched television since... before the year 2000, but I don't really count catching random scenes from that as any kind of commitment.

2) I'll stay for the credits of all but the worst movies.

1. I've never done that, and I suspect that would only happen if I was completely disinterested in the movie that I was watching. Thankfully, that hasn't happened yet.

2. It's possible that I might enjoy the music that's playing during the credits, or that there might be an easter egg after the credits are done, so usually I like to stick around - or rather, I would, if every single person in the theater wouldn't bail the instant the credits came on, and if the theater's staff wouldn't come in early, and gaze at me furiously for having the audacity of wanting to watch the movie I payed for to its very end.. /sigh

1. I have never left a movie. I spent my money on it so I'm staying. If it sucks, I can always make fun of it.

2. GTFO as fast as I can. Otherwise the parking lot might be a shit show. If there's some kind of end of the credits teaser, I don't really give a damn (the internet can tell me about it just fine). They aren't important enough to warrant me watching words for 10 minutes and then spending another 15 minutes waiting for other people in the parking lot.

1. I've never left a movie that my group wasn't already leaving. If it's my choice or I'm seeing it alone, I stay. If it really sucks enough that people walk out, I just consider it a test of manhood. I've survived Hobgoblins, Manos, Batman & Robin and Hunger Games. What more can they throw at me (as far as suck is concerned)?

As far as being offended, I have to kinda respect a movie that goes far enough to actually offend its audience. The major exceptions are really violent non-consensual sex (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo came closest for me. If it went even further than the furthest it went, I might have actually walked out) or some extreme level of racism. Fortunately I tend to check reviews before I see a movie so if for some reason I knew it was going that far I'd either just not go or decide before I went that I was going to suffer through it for whatever reason.

2. It depends on how much I have to pee. If it's a lot, I leave at the beginning of the credits. If I can hold it, then I stay if I think there will be a scene after the credits or if I'm just curious as to where they shot/whatevs.

Exactly my thoughts. I paid money for this and damnit, I am going to watch all of it!
Exactly... I paid GBP10 for my two hours of sitting in an uncomfortable seat and in front of a jackass on his mobile phone.

Thankfully, I've been lucky, film-quality-wise. I don't go to the cinema that often (more often these days) but when I go, I more often than not end up enjoying myself. The only outright bad film I've seen in the last year is Total Recall, but it was goofy enough for me to stay and smirk at it... -_-

And if the ending music is good, I'll stick around, but if I'm not interested then... well, I'm not interested, clearly... -_-

1. I've never left the theater, and I've seen some real bad movies in theaters. I'm not sure I really have a specific reason for why I stay. I think it's mostly rubber-necking. Y'know, like with a train wreck? I just can't stop watching because of how bad it is, and get genuinely curious whether or not it's even capable of getting worse. Plus, it gives me something to make fun of when chatting with other movie buffs.

2. I usually check online before going to the movie to see if there's anything after the credits. If there is, I'll stay for it. If there isn't, I'll stay at least long enough to check out the cast list. I'll also stay if the credits have some sort of particularly interesting graphic to them. Like, for example, I really loved the end credits images for Captain America using old WWII propaganda posters.

I never leave because I want my value for money, and I stick around during the credits to enjoy the music, because there might be a bonus afterwards, to point out silly names, but mainly because I don't want to screw around with people and their grandmothers stumbling out of rows and down aisles.

1. I sit all the way through. Not just because I figure "Hey, I'm already here," but also because 3 out of 5 times the friends I'm usually with are my ride home so I don't leave until they do.

2. I never see movies by myself so I'm kind of at the mercy of what my friends want to do but if it was up to me I'd leave immediately. I've seen enough post-credit sequences to the point where they're not even that special anymore.

i usually leave the second the credits roll but in australia they only raise the lights if the movie is actually finished and leave them dim if there is a bonus scene in which case i stay

1. Unless a movie is really offensive to me, I'll stick around for it. I've never walked out of a movie before because I'm very picky when it comes to what movie I'll go see. Unless it's something I'm hyped for (which hasn't happened in years) I pretty much will stay out of the theater.

2. I'll sit through the end credits to see if there are any clips at the end and to wait for the majority of the crowd to disperse.

1. I only leave a movie if it is just terrible to watch. Going to the movies is quite expensive, so a movie has to be quite bad to make me consider throwing away my money.

2. The only movies I am willing to sit through the end credits are tied to the Avengers universe in some way.
