Two worlds 2!!!

I am extremely excited for two worlds two and can't wait to get my hands on it, I am an avid fan of fantasy and the game looks great. I beat the first(I know it is shit). I enjoyed pieces of it but lets be honest, the game was a mess.

The second installment, however, is getting good reviews and has a fairly good metacritic review (75 on the xbox). It has functioning multilayer, which includes coop with up to 8 players. It allows for both 1v1 and 2v2 duels in an arena. The single player looks astonishingly long, some sighting it at over 80 hours. Reality pump has been very forthcoming about their last failure and has included lots of jokes involving the first two worlds. You can make your own villages as well as sail. The magic system has also been completely re done and looks pretty epic.

I just wanted to ask my fellow escapists if their excited at all, or are they perhaps to jaded to play the second installment of two worlds.

What got me, mostly, was the bad voice acting of the first game, and the second doesn't seem to have improved much. I saw a few combat videos and they seem like the first, also. Animations look clunky and awkward. There's not that much improvement that I see in the game to make me want it. The magic system does look good though, but it's not enough (sailing, making villages, length don't matter much to me (as long as it's over 7hours)).

I agree with you Entreri I'm really looking forward to this game. Until recently it was completely under my radar then I saw an article about it in game informer and I'm seeing all sorts of reviews for 8/10 all the way up to 9.2/10. I never played the first one and was surprised to see they were making a sequel, since the first was considered pretty bad. I started watching videos of gameplay since it's already out in Europe and I really like what I see I'm really hoping for a midnight launch on it, don't think I could wait an extra day at this point. The multiplayer looks fun I already have 4-5 friends saying they will get it on launch really looking forward to this game.

The game is already out, so everything your seeing is players playing the actual game which they purchased. I agree with you that it was too highly reviewed by a few reviewers, but the overwhelming majority thought it was shit lol. IGN gave it a 6.9 ( which is pretty low as far as games are concerned). But I agree with you, people should be skeptical because of the last installment, just make sure to keep your eye on it when it comes out.

fuck you gotta be kidding me, they didn't change the voice acting or the combat? Combat was horrible in the first one to the point where i thought they would actually patch it. The Magic in the first one got the job done so i can't complain about that, but the melee combat was fucking joke...

Well I guess i am not going to pre-order it now, man that pisses me off....

your not pre-ordering it becuase of what one person said..? Not multiple, but just one..? Why don't you check out video's and such before you just listen and not see.

yea man, huge improvements in writing and voice acting. It's no mass effect, but it's defiantly a large improvement over the first two worlds. The magic system is also looking way better then the last installment.

The only issue I see is multiplayer, it is completely random who you fight, which ends up meaning you fight someone so low that you one shot them, or so high that you get one shotted lol.

I've got it already. MAJOR disappointment. The animations are sub-par, plot is predictable, and gameplay can be quite frustrating.

And I keep losing my damn horses! Having to walk back to the town is annoying.

Maybe I'm spoilt by Bioware, but I still expected a lot more from this supposed "improvement".

TW2 came out a couple of months ago, at least here around germany. It had kind of interesting bits, but it was overall a broken, disappointing game, bugs and glitches like hell. Maybe they ironed out the buggy parts by now and used the european release as kind of a beta-test, but even then I wouldnt recommend it.
